I dont want to hurt anyones feelings but R* doesnt really care about the thousands of hardcore RDR fans who are begging for news every day on here and twitter etc.

We get news when there is news, just chill ppl. No one likes a desperate desperado

R* care about fans and respect themselves as well. They scheduled to release the game on spring to polish the game and share the perfect game for all of us.

Their main friend is a mystery, they not shout like kids and don't make the games every year. But we'll get all the info very soon, that's why the community became hyped and can't wait. As you said, we need a patience...

What would you like Rockstar to reveal next? (Could be today or next week)

I want the cover art reveal with Trailer 3 and May 18th release date.

Trailer 2 announcement happened on friday 22 september 4pm CET so that's about 4 hours from now. On the 20th of september they announced the R* editor winner. The same day they started the the smugglers run editor contest. The 21st they send a reminder about the event week. Not saying that is has to be today but that happened before the last announcement

Okay guys Im gonna be honest. Im really not that big of a fan of Arthur Morgan. His voice when he yells wheres my monehh!? Was sooooo cringey to me. It doesnt sound tough at all. Also I know its a prequel and all but Arthur doesnt have the scars and facial hair like red harlow and John marston do. Obviously well be able to add facial hair and maybe even scars but my statement stands. Im really hoping I end up really liking him but as of right now I dont. Also his outfit is bland and boring. No cool ammo straps across the chest no cool anything really. He ALMOST looks like an NPC. Maybe Im just being a picky little bitch. Either way this game will be phenomenal.

LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GUYS FEEL , Im very interested in other peoples opinions and love talking about this game with people. Ive been playing Rockstars games ever since I was 4. So i hold this company and everything they produce close to heart and Ill always be a fan. Im rambling Im sorry lol

All well :) You don´t have to apologize ... The first impression is important. If it's bad, you can´t change that anymore.

Personally I have a better opinion of Arthur's character the more often I saw the trailer. Meanwhile I love his presentation.

You're right, Arthur doesn´t look and sounds like the devil himself.

Quite the reverse! He looks too nice for an outlaw ... with his strong, muscular body, he looks more like a worker. These days maybe like a model from the sports magazine ... timber sports or wrestling? I don´t know :D

On the other hand is this combination of his outward appearance and the psychopathic staring as he threatens the young boy, fascinating and fearsome at the same time. The older man in the camp or the clerk in the bank are obviously afraid of him. They know exactly who he is and that he isn´t somebody to should joked with. He seems to like it when people are afraid of him and he can take full advantage of it.

In the bank scene I think he looks very impressive ... with the bandana on his face, the long, black coat and a rifle in his hand, while behind him the whole room explodes .

When he speaks, you hear the authority in his voice. Nobody dares to contradict. He leaves no doubt that he is the boss and no one questions this.

Just my two cents ... I would have a lot of respect for him  especially because you don´t see this all at first view ... that's why I'm so curious to learn his story.

Despite what I've written above, I think Arthur is somehow still tangible as a human being ... he isn´t invincible, as seen in the fight scene with the red-haired, strong man. Also, I believe you can hear in his voice when he speaks of the law that is right behind them, that he also fears the consequences of his actions.

Arthur seems to be connect with the natives. He helps the man who almost falls off the train roof and certainly would have died. So he doesn´t seem me like the absolute a*hole.

And somehow he´s working with Dutch. In the first game I found Dutch's character totally interesting and certainly not unsympathetic. Whether Arthur is loyal or if he'll stab him in the back, we'll see. I think their connection in any case very exciting ...

My goodness ... maybe I interpret too much in this damn second, short trailer, and probably I do.

Now I apologize for the long text, guys, whose content has been repeated here a thousand times. R * should finally redeem us!

By learning a little bit about the technology that will be used in RDR2, it is simply amazing.

It is already possible to see this in this screenshot:

How do you know that RDR2 will have photogrammetry? I can see it in some games, but not in RDR2 really.

Just been rewatching trailer 2, i for one think Morgan is f*cking badass. However I wonder if 2's time line is closer to 1's than most are speculating, or even overlaps and goes beyond the first year of Marston's death? Thoughts?

Who knows, it could do, but I think it'll end around the time Marston get's left for dead. I'm very interested to know what happens to Arthur though. Is he in prison? Is he dead?

Thanks guys!

FWIW this is a much less painful video to watch about the use of photogrammetry by Ubisoft in FC5

That's a good question. IMO if that were the case, it'd have to be a story where we start off way before the events of the first and then slowly creep closer and closer to RDRs original story.

The only problem I have with this is like many others have stated before, John never mentioned Arthur in RDR (albeit because at that point Arthur's character wasn't even created yet.) so I can't see how the two can over lap timeline wise unless something happens to lead John to believe Arthur is already dead (like maybe he fakes his own death) because if not Arthur would've definitely had to have been someone John hunted down in RDR.

Of course there's an answer to that too, as myself and some others have speculated, it's possible that in the beginning of RDR when John steps off the ferry, he's coming back from killing Arthur and other otherwise yet unnamed members of the van der Lind gang. Thus explaining why their never mentioned. He's already dealt with them. Or so he thought.

This is really cool, I love this tech so much, and I'm still fond of the FC series so It's more than bearable to watch, I like it!

Also the last 20 seconds' visuals, especially from 2:34 (campfire from 1st trailer) reminds me of the RDR2's visuals

My guess is the story of rdr2 takes place in 1894, 17 years before the first one. John is 22 then and Dutch 36.

Dutch will be asking Arthur for help due to paranoia and not knowing what kind of devil he did a deal with. I think Arthur will be a key factor in the further breaking of Dutch's gang and authority.

If R* DO reveal something Red Dead related today (highly unlikely) it will more than likely be similar to the last announcement, a date on a Red Dead screen for a new trailer next week.
