Everybody in the comments section is complaining about the lack of RDR2 news

This is very likely one of the reasons they did away with the Newswire comments they had back in the V days. Even during GTA V they banned people incessantly for spamming them with "GTA V news" in Max Payne 3 articles.

I have something that may seem pretty obvious but it's already something. I've been in contact these days with one of the illustrators who are currently working on RDR2, I will not be revealing any name here for privacy reasons. That person told me in a quick conversation without many details but well understandable.

* This person is working overtime to get the job delivered quickly.

* We'll see something about this very soon.

* Very excited to showcase your work.

As I said, these are very obvious things (after all, you want to keep your job)

Believe it or not, it's what I have to share.

Did he/she say how soon? Any gameplay or anything? I'm so tired of waiting.

The new retweet of the revolver means new news is VERY SOON. Its their usual hint leading up right to the news. All fan art is retweeted within a day of it originally being posted but this was retweeted over a month later and very specific out of everything they could have. I think all the rdr fan artwork before other trailers were also very old retweeted works.

Now this could just be a monthly routine they follow, but if not, this might point to news next week(if not tomorrow). Also, the new Doomsday R* Editor challenge ends on Sunday, February 4th, which is also the Superbowl(Deadline is 18 days, 1 less than the last R* Editor contest which ended on a Monday). Again, maybe just meaningless...

this is the exact point i was trying to get across to everyone. They always drop subtle hints, and it isnt usual for them to randomly retweet things from months out. This was yet another oh hey you guys want red dead and think we dont know that and ignore you? Then they tweeted the revolver. They are the kind of company where this means something is going to happen, regardless what anyone says. You are right, before news they had always retweeted fan art and stuff as it gets closer. The schedule lines up too. Could be somethin tomorrow but dont put stock into it like next week!!

I'm bored here's some fanfiction

 

Nintendo Headquarters, Kyoto Japan.

 

Two men are in an office playing a game on a Nintendo switch. They've been locked in the office for three days straight and their families are worried for them fearing that worst has happened and have contacted the police to report their disappearance. The game they are playing was GTA V the two men were responsible for giving the final approval for GTA V and seeing how the GTA V port works on the switch. The singleplayer part of the game was not the problem but after trying the online portion of the game they haven't been able to put it down.

 

An unknown man walks into the building and security is alerted. He enters an elevator and goes up to the floor where they are testing GTA V on the switch. The elevator door opens and the security guard who is waiting on the floor starts shooting as soon as the doors open. He stops once he sees that there was nobody inside the elevator. Confused he looks around until he feels the blade of a sword on his neck.

 

A voice starts speaking in Japanese it was the unknown man.

 

"Where is it?"

 

"I don't know?"

 

"Where is the Nintendo switch port of GTA V?"

 

The security guard tries to make a move but the unknown man slices off the security guards arm.

 

"Start talking or else it's your leg next. Then maybe your head."

 

"Okay okay it's down the hall on the right."

 

The unknown man walks down the hall and finds the office where the two men are playing GTA V on the switch. He pats one of them on the back and then continues speaking in Japanese.

 

"I'm sure the paperwork is in order?"

 

"Yes it's on the desk GTA V can now come to the Nintendo switch."

 

"Good I'll just take these files with me back to New York and we can start producing copies of GTA V on the switch immediately."

 

The unknown man takes the paperwork and then heads back to the elevator and leaves. He takes a cab to the airport and then takes out his cellphone and calls a number a voice is heard this time speaking in english.

 

"Sam how are you?"

 

"GTA V is ready to come to the Nintendo switch Strauss."

 

"Good. What are we going to do about Red Dead Redemption 2 though?"

 

"Don't worry about that. We'll handle Red Dead Redemption 2 in a couple weeks or so."

 

Sam Houser hangs up and then boards his flight.

I got big bets on next week. Right after my birthday january 21st r* will deliver the same week. If not next week, in my opinion, then im crossing out the last 3 days then starts again february 1st, right before feb 7th. I KNOW we will get something by the 7th.
