Collectors edition with Dutch's rings, Vinyl Soundtrack, Artwork book, Steelbook and an Arthur Morgan statue would be epic.

Heck yeah! I remember the Max Payne 3 Collector's Edition that came with the Max Payne statue.

Heck yeah! I remember the Max Payne 3 Collector's Edition that came with the Max Payne statue....which was terrible. The statue was so poorly made that I tried to contact Rockstar support to get a replacement but nada. I now have Max doing his best Michael Jackson impression in my closet somewhere. f*ck Project Triforce.

was dead-eye mode available in RDR's multiplayer? I mean in combat with others?!

they certainly implemented bullet-time into Max Payne 3's multiplayer! (good god, it was the best/most satsifying gunplay ever.....EVER)

just sayin, they will bring slow motion (bullet time/dead eye) to Red Dead Online, won't they? or is this option just out of question due to the open world?

I wanna fire away, empty the rounds of my dual-wielded revolvers and then reload, ALL IN SLOW MOTION!

How did bullet time with multiple people work in Max Payne 3?

Basically it was line of sight. If you were looking at someone and went into bullet time then that person would go into bullet time too. Likewise if the person you're aiming at was looking at other players then they would slow down as well so it chained.

RDR online had Dead Eye but time didn't slow down.

Nothing better than starting the Twin Rocks gang hideout in RDR and killing about 15 people with a single deadeye bar... only for the pesky guy on the rock at the far back to still be alive and be stuck in some hard to reach place.

Im trying to find out what Dutch's rings in this screenshot represent

the bottom one is obviously a lion

but the top one im having trouble seeing what that is

-snip-

It's a letter D. Most likely for Dutch. Or are you just trolling again?

Lol it's so funny when they would fall off the rock after you shot them.. 😂😂

Speaking of Twin Rocks, what's your favorite gang hideout or location in Red Dead Redemption?

My favorite is Tumbleweed.

A stick a dynamite solved that problem. ;)

or... nowadays you can just stand there without doing literally anything and the gang hideouts will pass in about 2-3 seconds. Tragic.

Pike's Basin... Just because... lol. Oh, and Fort Mercer.

Look at the quality of the patterns on the gun, must have took ages to do that. These developers do work really hard, and heres us complaining about no news. This is beautiful.

A gun with this level of detail will suck if it can't be seen and appreciated. I would like it if we were able to clean our guns from time to time or inspect them.

I hope sleeping, has a real purpose this time around.

*Has no one discussed the treasure map tattoo found in the files here yet?

Cleaning your gun would be awesome. If they do add that in I hope just for sh*ts and giggles there could be a small chance that it fires and you shoot your finger off.

any link to the sound effect?

With a whip and everything!

I really, really, really, really, really, hope that is not the mission complete sound effect similar to GTAV.

I think it would be cool if we can own properties. Like the saloon, hotel, or brothel. Here's another idea we could provide protection for mining companies, cattle ranchers, and rail road companies.

I wish the clothing customisation is great this time around.GTA V was ok,Red Dead had only fixes outfits which were cool but had no originality.

I wish for RDR2 to have separated sections(Torso, pants, hat, some poncho sh*t,gloves, bandana etc.)

Besides that I'd love some customisation for hair and beards. And not only 3 pathetic variatons like V had.

Would love to make Arthur bald and super-beardy.I will scare bears with that look.

I like this forum. The pattern is so obvious.

1)Release info(chest hunt for instance)

2)Get hype for a bit

3)Die down for some time untill anxiety hits again.

4)Takehardcore drugs

5)Start speculating again about delays and stuff.

Oh man, I havnt thought about that. Providing protection would be so cool. If it's done the right way. Edited by Not Kmart

I hope so, I hope they have vast rpg elements. There are no real excuses, this is for the next gen hardware. I think they will have the vast customization features you mentioned in online but I am worried about single player.

I actually want them to do something the likes of San Andreas. The rpg elements were amazing, even today. I get some things can not be done, but they can get more of those elements now that it's on hardware that more capable. Look at GTA 5 , online was a small glimpse that that capability.

If there’s any major change from RDR1 I hope it’s that we can alter clothing. I wouldn’t even mind a fixed hair/beard style but damn its going to suck being stuck with a handful of outfits, again

I also hope we get some neat bullet holes and brusing, maybe cloth tearing.

I really hoped to see big improvements in that regard in V,but was a bit issapointed.

You gotta remember that 5 was made on ps3. Alot of content got cut from the game to make it actually run smooth. So when ps4 came out, I think they mainly focused on online in terms of new customization. Because there was not much they were going to do for the remaster but I thought it was decent for a 1 year remaster version.

To your point about bullet holes and things like that, ya that would be awesome. We already saw some neat details of Arthur's coat being sperate from the body, acting likes real coat and not gluer to character.

Mombo281:

But this is R, not Ubisoft and their crap quality. R has delivered even better than what is seen in scenes from trailers, in the actual game.

As for the front cover of Red Dead Redemption II, I hope it's Arthur Morgan wielding his two revolvers. That would be epic.

Did mombo2811 take a look at this image and this other one from Grand Theft Auto V?

This is just a lighting issue imo, you can see the details in the gun on GTAV no problem, this person seems to just have used a sh*tty camera angle and a dark filter.

As for clothing, i cant tell you how much i enjoyed collecting and searching for sh*t just for a new outfit. I hated that default outfit. I would like to see different variations of the assassin, mountain men, duster and what ever else R* comes up with outfits.

Seen in the first trailer, you can see the shotgun wielding guy spit out tobacco. I want to ride into a town bitting a smoking cigar or spit tobacco. Deadeye was refilled with tobacco so i hope it plays a vital role.

I was actually a bit disappointed when the original trailer was released, because visually it looked like GTA V 2.0 to me.

Now however, I'm actually very impressed by what R* has shown us so far. It's a pretty big step up as far as the little things are concerned.

It's no Uncharted 4, but it was never going to be. So that being said, I have no doubt that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a technical marvel of video game design when it finally releases, just like every R* open-world game.

I'd have to disagree on Ubisfot.

They have been lately pretty good and acutally seem to be trying to make great games.Origins was really underrated this year.
