I'm calling it now. We're going to hit the end of December without a date which takes an April release off the cards. I'll start worrying about May towards the end of January.

I think we'll get a release date sometime between now and January. Hopefully the game comes out in May and a month later RDO comes out. I'm excited to dual wield guns in this game! R* did a great job with it in MP3. Imagine shooting up a saloon, blasting everyone in sight. Arthur blows away the smoke from his pistols and twirls his pistols into his holsters. Do you guys think Dead Eye will stay the same or it'll be different?

Mostly I didn´t need DeadEye. I wouldn´t miss it.

It was only good for shooting ropes ... they were very hard to hit without DeadEye.

 

But probably there will be something like that again.

They're definitely prepping for something but question is when. I'm sure they expected the treasure hunt to last a lot more than it's gonna last because Rockstar left everything in the files. Even though they also made it so you only need to find 5 locations and not the 20.

^ I'm sure even without the leftovers in the code ppl would have completed this treasure hunt within a day or so ... unlike R* planned to release the hints on specific dates ...

Spoiler alert as he goes to multiple locations to find clues although they're different than the video from above, He spends 25-30min hunting for it.

 

It also seems that given 20 locations and only requiring a few to get the gun, each place is random and the location you find the gun is at random

someone explain, how do I get this treasure? is this some social club related thing? cause my account just won't work anymore...gave up on it tbh.

Having a RedDead gun in GTAO...does that mean the gun system is almost identical? or does this revolver have some serious BLAST to it? does it go POW POW POW when you rob a liquor store with it, or does it go beep beep beep like most of the pistols in GTAO/V?

if you link your social club account you get a special edition of the gun in RDR2

The mystery is very easy to solve and it having "leaked" made no effect. There are cowbell-like effects when you're near the clues, and when you find one you get a very, VERY satisfying RDR-like "thwump" sound. You only need to find three of the clues, and the gun location will always be different. Mine was by some sewers in LS. It's awesome!

 

I also got the 50 headshots already, you can do it on NPC's (easier on the police), so I got my gun for RDR2!

It very likely is, yes. Just like the animations for reloading and stuff, all very westerney. The cowbell-like sounds you hear when you're near a clue may be from there too.
