The head of marketing needs shooting. You can say the marketing has not officially started and stuff, but its been a f*cking shambles since day one.

Posters should be out over Christmas saying "pre order spring 2018" but nothing f*ck all.

Or anything like that. Just put that as the main focus gta online is done. Deal with it. Its old news.

GTA Online is far from being done. Deal with it. I wish it was different, but it is just as relevant (if not more) as years ago when it first launched. It's still making them millions upon millions.

I wish we had more Red Dead news by now, but we are still months away from the release date. Time enough to market the hell out of the game that's for sure.

Most kids want tinker toys and fire trucks for Christmas but back in 2002 I had Grand Theft Auto Vice City nestled under the tree. Best gift ever! Anybody else ever got a Rockstar Game title under their tree way back when?

I got a few of my Rockstar stickers (they used to give em away during contests and when you sent them a "Mouthoff" asking for them a few years back - doubt they still give em out) on my stocking). lol

If we get a screenshot, I hope it's not just landscape screen, but more of a town or Arthur doing something. Something to get a better sense of what the world will be like.

Seeing this is the 1st game of R that is "from the ground up", I expect a lot of new inovation from them. And Rdr is a completely different game than GTA series. It's almost a 360 I might argue, thats probably why there is a big shift in audience, those that can appreciate both got it even better. Hopefully they do a gameplay trailer showcasing the world.

Im going to enjoy actually riding from point A to point B, making it seem as emersive as possbile. Encountering wild animals and what not. 1st time encountering snakes in rdr was crazy I was like WTF yo! Damn horse, to find it was a ratttler. Shot that mutha...

Probably more like 5 to 6 months away.

I got Vice City on opening night.

I remember calling them every hour asking if they had it in yet. They probably hated me.

The Gamestop manager had to drive to the post office an hour+ away to get the game and she apparently drove 85 mph on the freeway on the way back.

I have a weird feeling playing new GTAs. I never like them. It feels weird but then it changes and I get adjusted.

Except GTA V. I pretty much never adjusted.

Not going little off topic here, but in 2002 i got my first PS2 with GTA III and VC taped together with tape. LOL, i remember it so well it's crazy. I played the sh*t out of both of them. Then in December of 2004 i got SA because after the first two gta's i was a big fan of it even though i was only 14 at the time. I knew SA was taking place in a city like Los Angeles where i lived and it had a gangsta theme to it. I wanted it so bad in October when it first released but had to wait till christmas. Can say it was worth the f*cking wait. Damn how time flies man.

Looking at what gta has become with GtaO. Kids these days will never understand these old school gta charms. Most got spoiled with a joke like gtaO smh.

Lol we can all be nostalgic about old GTA games but can we please stop gatekeeping the GTA series.

"Kids will never understand these old school gta charms" is what kids today will probably say 15 years later about the GTA games. It's pointless, let people enjoy GTA for any reason.

I left school and drove to the mall to pick up my preordered GTA Vice City. The only game I’ve ever pre-ordered, RDR2 will likely be the next one

Rockstar Vienna

I'll try to get back on topic a bit... I bought RDR on day one but only found out about the game a few days earlier. I had internet but barely checked out the latest gaming news. I probably saw the Red Dead commercial on TV at least 100 times. But I guess it took at least 50 times till I realised that this "cowboy game" is from Rockstar. Checked out the trailers and gameplay series immediately and got blown away. Almost the same thing happened when San Andreas came out if I remember correctly. No internet back then so I bought a good old gaming magazine. "Oh damn, look! A new GTA will be released next month!" The good old times without internet  Wish I would just find out about RDR2 a few days before its release too.

The San Andreas times were great! I found out about it around 4 months before the game came out and it had only been announced a month before that or something. There was a new trailer and website update every month, as well as weekly previews on IGN and Gamespot on varying features like weight and car modding. Those four months dragged like hell at the time but what I would give to go back to it being like that again.

Red Dead Redemption I followed pretty much from the first trailer - you do so love to the talk in riddles Mr Marston - but my interest didnt peak until I saw that Gameplay: Introduction video. That blew my mind sideways and I cant wait for the RDRII one to come out.

Im starting to feel excitement again. This GTAO treasure hunt/Boles stagecoach fundings is reminding me of the Epsilon program findings. Im checking Twitter every couple of hours to see if theyve found a little more.

"Man spoiled kids these days with their GTA XIII Online they don't understand the old days man. They get the Ass pounder 4000 bike with a dildo on it on day one. Back in my day we had to wait four years for a jetpack! They don't understand the pain I had to go through. Anyway what the hell are you doing on my lawn? Get off my lawn before I call the cops!"

When can we pre order it on psn

Depends on where you are. In Australia -- which uses the same online store as Europe and the UK -- games aren't available to preorder nor do they have a game page before the release date is announced. The store will be up pretty quickly once Rockstar give the world a date. In America, there is a game page with a placeholder date but I'm not sure whether you can actually preorder yet.

Wow, first episode of Godless on Netflix is gold. Serious RDR2 vibes, especially with the outlaw gang. Also, the robbery of the mine, how there was security on top of the train like that, that was dope, I 100% see that in a mission/heist in game. Going to make the show last a little instead of binging it, something to circumvent this endless wait for something from R. Definitely recommend as some have already stated.

^^^ I know dude! I saw a few people on here talking about it the other day so I was like "ah f*ck it I'll see what all the fuss is about." Watched a couple eps so far but I fell in love, it's an amazing show. Every time i watch an episode I'm like looking for cool things that might be in RDR2 like that train Makes the wait a little easier.

I'm probably the only one not enjoying Godless. I'm four episodes in and the story has absolutely zero pace to it. It feels uninspired, like a mishmash of stories that might work well if they were a 90 minute film, stretched over seven episodes that have a painfully long run-time. It has the crisp, clean look of most Netflix originals because they opt to use digital over film cameras and the style suffers for it - looks good but has zero character. The only thing I can't fault is the Jeff Daniels character.

Oh I remember too ... GTA Vice City and San Andreas. I was really looking forward to it. I drove my bike an incredible speed to my favorite game shop. 20 km on stony, steep roads from our village to the city. My parents have declared me crazy ...just for a game but they don´t understand that :sigh: Unfortunately, no other GTA has packed me so. IV disappointed me and I didn´t even buy GTA V. Maybe sometime ...

RDR? I heard about just before release, althought I had played RedDeadRevolver as well. Another Cowboygame from Rockstar? OpenWorld! Horses, Guns, Raids, ... Wow ... must have! I was so hyped that I bought the game and a new XBox at the same time. I fled up at work earlier and spent the rest of the day at the console  Now I´m hyped again ... almost like in the past. But this time I already have the right console (PS4). I haven´t pre-ordered it yet ... I'll buy it on the day of release.

Really good show! Yesterday I saw episode 5 ...only two more :(

I like Frank and his Gang ... very cool ... terrifying when they appear in the dark. Especially the outlaw with the whistle and the long beard. I forgot his name ...

And I like Sheriff Bill McNue ... I think he´s funny and very courageous. Also Mary Agnes ... damn brave woman.

The story with Frank and Roy reminds me a bit of Dutch and John.

I know what you mean! Its pretty much the only reason I have twitter on my phone. Ive set it up so I only get notifications every time Rockstar posts. They went NUTS when doomsday went live. Like everyone here, I cant wait for the gameplay videos. I think 6 months out from RDR they were giving us a new video every month, 2 videos a month for the last couple. Fingers crossed.

I cant remember who asked this (it was back up the page a ways) but if I could ask Rockstar one question it would probably be about inventory and weapons. Someone speculated a while ago about the horse playing a larger part in that with Arthur and co being on the run. I think it would be a great addition and really push the survival aspect of being an outlaw at that time/place in history

Yeah I was thinking that as well, when I watched it lol

You get that jonh looking for Dutch vibe lol But godless is Frank looking for Roy.

Basically it's the opposite. RDR (protagonist hunting antagonists) and godless (antagonists hunting our protagonist)

I thought it was one of the best miniseries ever
