I honestly think R* at the very least will post something before the year is over. Even if it's only a couple screenshots and a 'stay tuned for more in the coming months' announcement.

If the game is still on track for Spring 2018, marketing should go into full gear within the next 3 weeks.

Technically Spring in the US runs until Mid-June. Thats a full 6 months from now

In North America, the first day of spring is March 20th (Spring Equinox), and the first day of Summer is on June 21st (the summer solstice). And you are correct, over here, Summer doesn't officially end until the 22nd of September (Autumn Equinox). So if the game doesn't get delayed, it will likely be coming out sometime between March 20th and June 21st. My hunch is that we will see another late May release like we did for the original RDR back in 2010.

Not in the official way, I followed the story. Apparently it just appeared in the guy's inventory, maybe a typical Rockstar glitch. Because the treasure hunt itself doesn't seem to be active yet.

Yeah I like the reloading and holstering animations. In GTA the gun dissapears after you put it away (like all the other weapons I believe), but I kinda hope that in RDR2 a few weapons are shown on your body.
