Well, I'll be f*cked.

It's Red Dead Redemption 2...

So did anyone managed to ID the 7 guys in the picture?

from right to left:

John Marston, Agent Ross, Dutch van der Linde, Liam Neeson, Bill Williamson, Javier Escuella, Mr. T

Thing with when it does release for PC in some era is that you'll be spoiled already by others who have already played it, and that's why I won't follow any news about RDR from here on out, one day I'll see a PC announcement and I won't be that hyped even though I've never played Red Dead the experience itself would be cool.

Hahah holy f*cking sh*t.

Rockstar you son of a bitch, no PC platform again. We'll have to wait another 3 years and speculate the f*ck out of the possibility of the port.

Obviously early to tell, but I got feeling that Single Player will take backseat again.
I would love to be proven wrong though, but I cannot see them passing on chance of advancing on online's success.

Actually I think John is in the middle guys

No, absolutely not. Left is John. Center is probably someone new. I think speculation from yesterday is right - we may have a new protagonist and Marston will just be a side character in the story.

PC earns more money now that S**tBox One. Yet C* still lives in 2010.

GTA V on PC alone sold more than on LameStation 4 and Crapbox One.

Keep the immature console wars outta this. Give it time, nothing has been announced saying it's not on PC.

This is actually true, and what I wanted to say at first. But it's pretty clear the omitted the PC logo from the site's page. I don't know how else you'd interpret that.

Maybe you don't interpret it and just wait for the official Newswire post? I dunno.

The name Red Dead Redemption 2 was kind of unexpected. Can't wait to see who is (or are?) the main protagonist(s).

Given the history of Red Dead on PC, you can't blame any PC player for being a bit pissed off. We have literally no idea whether we'll get it in two years or never. It's pretty irritating, especially given the success of GTA V on PC.

Rockstar = master trolls. They are just playing on people's expectations with their wordings and the title, while at the same time probably being brutally honest and saying you shouldn't expect any different this time from the last, just to see who cracks!

It's disheartening about the title but I'm certainly not going to judge the game just because all of these first impressions (when we haven't even seen the actual game yet!). It's very smart for those who don't own Xbox Ones or PS4s. Time to churn up some money for Sony or Microsoft and buy 'em (and most likely double down once more).

If you didn't expect a PC launch alongside consoles after GTA IV, Episodes From Liberty City, L.A. Noire, and GTA V (hell, even the 3D-era GTA games), you've really got another thing coming for you now.

The one on the left has to be Marston. Other than his face, he's the only one looking at an entirely different direction as the other ones. We know he left Dutch's gang, so it might be a metaphor for him looking at different horizons.

slimeball supreme

Holy sh*t, hyped.

Rockstar aren't gonna do some dumb 'wacky story' stuff they did with V, because that was their attempt at going back to the roots of GTA. Now they can do essentially whatever they want with RDR since it was developed with a mature story and a realistic outlook - and from the looks of it they're doing exactly the same here. An epic tale in the unforgiving heartland of America? Doesn't sound like some dumb satirical jab at American culture. I have a feeling they're gonna go as hard as possible with the new game and it totally shows.

Meanwhile, Online? Huge, huge potential. Maybe they'll do the micro transactions again but I doubt it'll have much to do with money. What can you buy, supplies and a horse? Even then, there aren't gonna be jets or lowriders or anything - so I'm expecting BIG things.

Cheatz/Trickz

You guys seems fine with no PC release among consoles..

It's more of a problem than the story

It's really not. I'm glad we won't be seeing any F1 racers in the wild west.

Thursday is going to be busy.

This forum will be all over the place. Breakdown analysis of every single frame. Breakdown on Story, Characters, Map, RAGE, Horses, Clothes, Guns Features. Just thinking about it has me pumped.

Its the best part before the release. That and the entertaining chaos we are now witnessing in this thread. lol

Yeah its to be expected. You know what they always say "Don't judge a game by it cover"

This is factually not true and I say this as a PC gamer that doesn't even have any consoles.

"An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."

I'm okay with multiplayer existing in the game, but the wording they used seems to be priming people for another GTA V/Online model, with most of the meat of the game being in Online.

Go ahead and get upset at me, people, but I'm now skeptical as f*ck about this game, and will remain so until it's finally out.

Yep. Its best to remain cautiously optimistic.

Dont trick yourself twice by being over hyped for this.

Thats an advantage of being skeptical, your expectations wont be crushed

Name is stupid indeed. Clearly C* wanna just cash in even more with this game. And "brand new online mode"......I smell that dissappointment from core game and Online will be far greater than from GTA 5 and GTA Online.

No way they are going to pass another chance to milk out of the online experience in a wild west setting, which is obvious looking at how they have phrased it.

Its like they are dying to show off the brand new multiplayer experience.

I'm 100% sure about the game being infected by Online virus in signifucant amounts. You can mark my words, and post too.

It makes more money now over the entirety of the gaming spectrum, but most of the money is coming from MOBAs and nickel and dime S&P shooters.

Nearly 50% of their sales have come on the Sony platforms for GTA V, out of 65mil total.

I'm still bitter of how V SP turned out because of Online...

Some of it is elitists, but I think the majority of PC players are just disappointed for the 200th time by Rockstar.

Looks as if everyone that hates GTAONLINE is channeling all their bitterness into this announcement. It's textbox triggered like that one girl who got her ass cheated on and became a feminazi who thinks all men must die on some game of thrones sh*t. haha
