Who cares if RDR2 will have online focus. As long as the campaign doesn't suck i'm happy. Also problably an unpopular opinion here: I play the sh*t out of online. I like it more now then before since i have friends to play with for the first time. I never bought a sharkcard and I'm still having fun in the game. I can't wait for RDR2 online!

ONLINE is fun af if you ask me. The STORY will be dope that's a given, as long as there are no microtrans included im happy. But to think just because GTAV did not receive a SPDLC that the story of RDR2 will suffer because of online being a focus is a reach imo..Yan has even stated that the SPDLC could actually still be in the works and could release shortly after RDR2 release. If they were smart they would make microtrans less of a requirement and just load us with $40 DLC through out its lifespan. Aint no telling how they'll go about RDR2 they may bring back the Rockstar Pass for all we know.

Is anyone else hoping we can duel more than one person in Red Dead Redemption 2 Single Player? It was only 1 on 1 duels in Red Dead Redemption but dueling it out with two or three fellas would be pretty cool.

Not me personally but I think that's what people are worried about - that they'll put more effort into Red Dead Online which means less focus on the single-player. I can't see that happening at all though, they'll both be well fleshed out.

So, just some last minute poster-based speculation that is bound to be irrelevant within the next 30 hours:

 

Looking at the seven figures, I just took note of their positions for the first time. Now these might, of course, not mean anything; just where they looked the best artistically. However, I've begun to think that there's some sort of pattern, as so...

 

The four circled, spread out evenly, appear to me to be standing on the same level of ground. Three of these figures have most popularly been concluded to be John, Dutch and Bill. The final guy is not so identifiable, but he looks to be a native American and we know that Dutch had a particular fondness for the native culture. Could it be that this positioning indicates their being as part of the same gang?

 

We know that, going off the trailer as well, these seven are not the same as those who rode together in the final shot. And when you look at the three not circled, they don't look like gang members. To me each resemble a western archetype: the centre guy a cowboy; the right-hand guy a gunslinger (maybe Landon Ricketts?); the left-hand guy a lawman.

 

Going into the trailer tomorrow, I'm going to go out and say that the four circled, on the same ground level, are part of Dutch's gang. The three not circled meanwhile are the game's protagonists. The guys on the left and right are definitely not part of the gang, meanwhile, the figure in the centre could go either way in that regard; perhaps torn between different worlds?? I don't know; that's just my final guess!!

Idk but now that i think about, Am i the only 1 that finds it funny that in both the trailer and the delay photos they showed off 2 different stores? i think they're trying to tell us something.

I could see The Wild Bunch scenario where you play as all different types of outlaws like in GTA V.

 

But I think regardless Dutch is the hero of the game and John is seen as the villain.

In RDR he was more so painted as the "suit-behind-the-desk" type, but hey maybe that was just because he was older. Either way I'm pretty sure it is a lawman, especially once you look closely and see that he's wearing a shirt and tie.

true gta 4 did have a lot of cool interiors. and the resturaunts. gta 5 had some good stores too. it had 24 7. a gas station and liquor stores. gta 4 did not have them.

If you look closer, he has long silky looking curly hair.

Na im talking about what the stores have to offer/selling. It could be just be nothing but i think R* are who they are because of the attention and focus on the small details, and i doubt would put a bunch of random sh*t on the WE SELL list lol idk. Look at how long the item selection is tho, I had said it a few days ago that i wouldn't be surprised if we will experienced illnesses like syphillis maybe and small pox to name a few, maybe having to treat snake bites and bullet wounds etc. In westerns plenty of times, they would apply gun powder to bullet wounds and light it to stop the bleeding.

No one has said that this will be the best story ever, just that the story will be good. Which is probably true since pretty much all their games have had pretty solid stories, as far as I can remember at least. That's not calling them "God", it's just a realistic expectation.

Lol they aren't trying anything, obviously ones a doctor and another one is a general store, they were the same in RDR both buildings being different, the doctor was a small building, the general stores way bigger with more stuff in thrm, and itll be the same, in RDR doctors offered medicine apples horse pills and alot more sh*t, maybe this time around they just a a list outside

If they do have multiple playable characters I could see them taking plenty of influence from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

 

 

 

 

 

If you haven't seen it, I would definitely recommend it. One of the best films of all time.
