Atleast us Gta San Andreas fans will finally see the return of duel weilding weapons, by the looks of the Mexican-American guy next to the Indian.

He most likely be my favorite.

Well he already has the coolest hat, that's for sure!

That cavalry jacket he has is dope

He's wielding two Colt 1860's, Civil War era pistols.

Probably see some kind of war take place or hear about it.

From left to right: John Marston, Javier Escuella (he's probably been recast and redesigned), Dutch van der Linde, our character (probably played by Roger Clark), Bill Williamson, the loose cannon of the gang (his outfit has darker tones to it than the rest of the characters and he rides the dark horse), a Native American character.

We're definitely playing as the character in the middle and he's likely the MAIN character, just like Micheal was the MAIN character in GTA V. If we're playing as anyone else it's probably the two on the far right. Keep in mind I'm not taking the last shot of the first trailer into account. Who knows how that blonde haired woman comes into play, or if that turns out to be Abigail.

I still want to know what gun Dutch is holding...

Oh you didn't know? The M60 is the gun that "won the west."

On the leaked map...

What does everyone make of New Bordeaux? If it's real, I assume it's just a placeholder name that Rockstar took from their sister company's game. My issue though, is that New Orleans doesn't exactly evoke strong feelings of the Wild West to me.

I want to clarify, I love New Orleans. I'm a Saints fan. I've been to the city in my travels. I've eaten Gumbo, jambalaya and fried alligator. I've always thought the city would make a great location for a GTA game but Mafia jumped the gun and got there first. Having said that, it's the perfect location for Fallout 5.

But Red Dead? I just don't see it. New Orleans, Louisiana doesn't have the same heartland-feel of Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas. To me it's weird that Rockstar would want to put an area like that in a Western.

I really hope it's not actually based on New Orleans and is just a swampy-area in the South of the map. Geographically, it's across the lake from Thieve's Landing, which itself was a mire of sh*t, so that works.

Other than that, I look forward to Rockstar recreating Blackwater and Tall Trees in all their glory.

I really hope that during competitive game modes (for the times you just wanna get away from Free Roam for a few matches) that we get the return of the RDR spin-off of a game lobby. It was funny before a match started players starting fist fights and kept making their character talk. I also hope those Mexican duels/standoffs occur before the game mode actually starts.

Is anyone interested in having the multiple protagonists feature return? While I did enjoy it in GTA V, I feel like it wouldn't feel right in a game like Red Dead.

I'll be honest....I can see it going the same route as GTA V.

We pretty much know already that we're gonna be playing as multiple protagonists, which means there will probably be a character switching feature.

I can't wait for the stampede mission, where our three protags have to herd a sh*tload of cattle back to the pasture, one each protag on the left, right and rear of the heard. You have to keep switching between characters because the messages keep popping up, "The cattle are dispersing to the left The cattle are dispersing to the right! The cattle aren't keeping up in the rear!" and the funny switching sound starts to pulsate.

Fun times.

I'll appreciate multiple characters, cause i'll feel it will be unrealistic for a single character to be fantastic at everything without flaws.

Multiple protagonists could be awesome if they're all fleshed out properly. Think certain Sergio Leone westerns.

I hated (and still do) that cattle mission so much

and the races..jesus its so tedious. On the wagon race I flew off a f*cking bridge and I threw my controller at the wall.

Still a great game tho ;)

I really enjoyed the horse races. But the ones with the carriage were pretty clunky imo.

The only thing tedious is braking a controller and walking to your nearest gamestop to buy a new controller.

Back on Topic: OMG!!! If you're not looking forward to seeing the rockstâgames website crash on thursday.

IGN will be broadcasting the trailer live! http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/09/26/ign-live-presents-red-dead-redemption-2-reveal

Based on the screenshots, and since the game(hopefully) takes place in the late 1800's, it'll be great to finally see locomotives look less like this,

LOL, you know they're gonna get the trailer from the same place we get it, Rockstar's Website. If it crashes for us, it crashes for them.

My bet is Rockstar will have a trailer on Youtube uploaded at the same time, and that won't crash. So if the website crashes, look at their Youtube.

Multiple protagonists could be awesome if they're all fleshed out properly. Think certain Sergio Leone westerns.

Especially at the end, where you have a 3-way standoff in a circular cemetery with your three protags, and you have to switch between them at an increasing rate, up to some ridiculous speed, building up deadeye in each protag, and deciding which of the others to shoot. If you don't do it all fast enough, the mission fails because nobody gets shot.

There was always that one retarded cow that would veer off in a direction opposite to the rest lol I hated having to go all the way there and make sure it doesn't jump off a f*cking cliff

Or all three of them die

I cant believe R* went the extra mile to depict how the night sky looked back then before mass amounts of light pollution.

This game's gonna be a beaut!

Could we see a duel with an epic musical score playing in the background? In Red Dead Redemption the duels when walking up to the guy who challenged you weren't really that satisfying without that build up like seen in western movies in my opinion.

Also, if a prequel (which I'm hoping for) I'm wondering if 3 people betray Dutch, John, Bill and Javier resulting in these four fellas hunting down the 3 cowards all while running into problems with each other throughout the story. Maybe they'll have their moments when these guys are all on the same page when getting sh*t done and other times when they aren't on the same page and one is more trigger happy then the other and wants leadership of their own.

Regardless of whacky ideas the time is almost here guys and gals until we get the real juicy details!

I was rewatching the trailer and this is my favourite scene.

On top of the skies, I also love how the fire reflects off the trees, atmospherically it looks insane. Great composition of the fire and the stars.

I can live with that. Rockstar should design the game ending so that all three protags have to get killed in the standoff, in order to unlock RDR Online. You'd never see the kids working so hard, to pass a mission.

I hate racing in general, but at least the wagon dynamics were something a little different and unique. And I liked the cheering crowds.
