Shrewsbury is a gun manufacturer of the old west, yea. But how it's looking so far, i doubt it will lead to anything.

Shrewsbury is a weapon manufacturer in GTA, it's not a RDR thing. But, in the fictional bio of the company it dates back to the wild west so you could say it's a little bit related, but it's probably not.

Sam Houser's Office, Rockstar Games New York.

 

Sam Houser is in his office getting ready to start his morning like he always does with a bottle of scotch. Just as he's about to open the bottle he sees Yves Guillemot the CEO of Ubisoft step into his office.

 

"Mr. Guillemot what brings you here?"

 

"Sorry for bothering you Mr.Houser but as you know our game Assassins creed Origins comes out this fall after a two year hiatus. We haven't had the best reputation the last couple of years lots of people have given us a lot of crap over our games and with Red Dead Redemption 2 also coming out this fall I don't think we'd be able to survive. Please Mr.Houser I don't want to lose my job and end up on the streets I beg you as a friend delay this game."

 

Sam Houser smiled very few men in this industry had the power and influence that he had to make the CEO of a rival company come into his office and beg him to delay a game.

 

"Yves we're hardly friends. We've known each other for years but we hardly speak, when I go to France on vacation you never visit. Lets be honest you've never liked me. So Tell me why I should delay this game that you know and I know will change and revolutionize gaming."

 

Yves Guillemot started sweating

 

"It's true I've never liked you. I hate you. No matter how hard we try people always push us off to the side because of the Ubisoft name. I'm jealous of your success. We do our best to provide customers with a great single player experience at a time when other other companies are more focused on online and you know who gets all the sh*t? We do."

 

Yves Guillemot opens a briefcase revealing a bunch of hundred dollar bills

 

"If I can't convince you Mr.Houser maybe our friend Benjamin Franklin will."

 

Sam Houser's eyes open up in excitement

 

"Well Benjamin Franklin can be very persuasive. I guess a delay can be arranged."

I know this is a joke... But damn!

This actually might be what happened behind the scenes at R*...

We all know that there's political involvement in the gaming industry and there companies that pussy out and buy time from gigantic successful and well trusted companies such as The Housers's... Ubisoft knew that they put hard work on their game AC:O but it's still Ubisoft so you know they will still not reach high standards and went in to persuade R* to delay in return they give some of their profit to T2I...

 

I am beginning to believe that this is the case!

I think some R* employees could have lurk in here and find a poll so they reported it to HQ and now they are purposely holding out RDR2 News and Infos. I expect something now when it less expected. We should get something before the end of 2017.
