1000 pages only? Think about it, we've gone +500 pages so far with basically no information about the game in 10 months. 6 months of marketing will triple this number at least as we start to witness more traffic and new posters coming to join this wonderful discussion.

Bombushka - 24 missions

Howard - 27 missions

Mogul - 30 missions

Pyro - 33 missions

Sea Breeze - 36 missions

Nokota - 39 missions

Hunter - 42 missions

 

So am I right that we won't get a car/plane drip-fed every week from now onwards (as with the previous Gunrunning update) ... looks like this time they will be unlocked by completing a certain amount of missions?!

That would raise our legit hopes of RDR2 news within the next two/three weeks drastically!

i keep seeing all this sh*t still being released for GTAO, it gives me less and less hope for RDR being anything but a bigger GTAO

That's interesting if true, it might be their way of leaving tons of space for RDR2, which also means... Nothing to occupy the newswire other than Adversary Modes or fan art (which really aren't real Newswire articles) so... This might be it!

 

Though I think there are more cars to dripfeed so I don't know, though it's like three more only. I'm not sure of this though.

No, from what I've heard now, apparently these mission counts unlock the discounted price for those vehicles, but the vehicles are still dripfed. God damn it. Regardless... They have until September 22nd, I reckon we might see something soon. Please?

This week and next, being the week and week after an update, seem really unlikely and I'm not hopeful at all. I think September 12th through 22nd have pretty decent odds, with every week after becoming more and more likely to finally be the week.

3rd week of September is my bet. R*s gonna milk this update dry and there will be special events and minor updates leading all the way into early-mid September

It sure September..Anyway since the GTA franchise and it online/mmo spin-off GTA Online have a monopoly in all of Action-Adventures, Openworld, Crime, and Racing it not surprrising the want to steal some of PUBG's players away since it an MMO-type game.

 

Edit: Tbh i see the reason The Benz is suing since R*/Take-Two owns GTA and the supposed 45-year ideas for the franchise i think he was let lose without his ideas which i think legally should be company-owned. I guess future GTA or even GTA Online will continue using those ideas meaning Infinite DLCs and Gameplay mode(s). I hope the case is settled since The Benz will not be able to copy those ideas on his own games- just look at creator Dave Jones- give him like $50 million and 10-year non-compete clause.

North Yankton will sure become a full-fledged map and even an Expansion/DLC but obviously for GTA Online

Don't you think that if they were going to do North Yankton they would have done it already? I'm sure they considered it for a time but eventually chose not to. Easy-to-make and low-effort content brings in the same returns, and GTAO has been passionless from the beginning, so they were never going to strive for greatness with it.

 

All we can do is hope that the passion returns with Red Dead Redemption.

At this point GTA Online is likely just made by a small team at North who is probably told to do "this and that", maybe the order for more DLC even comes from the upper floor of the NY office - Take Two. The Rockstar we all love is pretty much doing RDR2 right now or whatever other things they have in the pipeline.

I've said this before but I think now might be a good time to reiterate. Rockstar delayed RDR2 because they felt like it wasn't going to be up to their standards if they rushed it out by Fall 2017. That alone is proof that they aren't half-assing this like GTAO content we're getting used to seeing and I fully expect the game to be a return to form for them.
