Modern day Expansion packs were pioneered by two GTA titles: London 1969 on the PS1, and The Episodes of Liberty City on the Xbox 360/PS4. Now that influence have now spread to Infamous, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Dishonored, and even Saints Row among many others

 

Edit: Rockstar San Diego (formerly Angel Studios) invented a sub-genre in racing with Midnight Club that now influenced The Crew.

CDPR said themselves that that artwork and the assets we're from a recently scrapped version. God knows what the game actually is now or when it'll release

GTA Online is an mmo/online extension to the GTA Franchise and it been a commercial hit so far. I read your linked thread and it was very interesting.

I wouldn't believe that rumor at all, Mike Pondsmith had an interview a few weeks ago and gave a small update on Cyberpunk 2077 saying he's happy with how the development is going. Also in the government funding they requested its expected the game will be finished by mid 2019 sooo I wouldn't call it vaporware. Not going to link any of my videos on it but its clear Cyberpunk 2077 is further than pre-production also as the neogaf post that this originated from said "please treat it as a rumour"

Cyberpunk feels like vaporware because it was announced with a teaser trailer before it even began production. For some inane reason CD Project Red figured it was a good idea to announce it that soon, God knows why, probably to secure investments or something if I had to guess. It'll be released at some point, they seem to be all-in on it right now.

Well damn...I consider it one of the greatest games ever made with the amount of detail and content. But everyone is entitled to opinion and it certainly isn't for everyone...personally it was announced so early because I don't think they expected the critical and commercial acclaim that would come with the Witcher 3 which is why they went from "where going to keep you up to date on development through blogs" to "where going to follow the Rockstar route with being quiet till we are ready to show what the game actually is"

 

Crazy the influence Rockstar has in this industry.... and CD Projekt actually said specifically that they wanted to be like Rockstar in terms of revealing stuff.

August is almost over and September is right around the corner. Summer doesn't end until September 22nd of this year. So I expect new RDR2 info within the next couple of weeks. Assuming Rockstar will hold their end of the bargain that is.

I really like Rockstar,and I really hate them.

They are like this cool kid in class who' seems like a lazy piece of s*it,yet deliever every time they are asked/promise to.

They can show info anytime they want,I really don't think they take in consideration GTA O DLC and whatnot.

1)OK guys last thing i wanna say about the next trailer is " this is gonna be AWESOME " and you know it! ))))))) i dont think rockstar is stupid at Advertising for RDR2, a few screenshot and another delay?!!! nah why no hope! yes they did it to us ( PC Gamers ) when we were waiting for PC version of GTAV but this is how their f-ckin business works! and we know its TAKE2's fault as publisher!

 

2)if first trailer is captured on a Standard PS4 and it was 1080p Native ( while it was awesome ) i want more details for my ps4 pro on 1080P ( only reason i got a ps4 pro is RDR2 )

 

3)and hope the Traditional story ( i mean telling story and how it goes...., sorry for my english ) be like RDR not like f-cking GTA:V!!! ( gtav was very good but not good like GTA SA and GTA vice city in their time , and RDR2 need to be like RDR not GTAV)
