I'm still not going to switch my guessing. Last week of Summer or hell, maybe even the last day of Summer.

I guessed August...oh well. Maybe I'll guess right in the release date poll.

At this point I'd be okay with them posting an image of a red background with black text in the middle saying: LAUNCHING WORLDWIDE ON MAY 15th, 2018.

It would be more interesting to see where everyone failed, but that never happens.

But why? Isn't that just a "settings thing" when making a new poll?

There is no setting to restrict poll changes. Blame Invision who made the forum software.

We'll get Red Dead Redemption 2 (the actual game) before a "Nightlife Update" in GTA Online that's for sure. :D

Being rich and a kingpin in Los Santos is fun and all but instead of spending my nights at my generic apartment taking hits from my bong and drinking this stale ass whiskey I wanna head over to Bahama Mamas West and party the night away and sniff coke off a strippers (*cough*) and dance my ass off until I'm wasted enough from taking many shots and end up passed out on the beach the next morning. Now, that's what I call nightlife in Los Santos.

That sounds like a cool update so Rockstar will never do it.

Off Topic: I'm disappointed there wasn't any kind of nightlife in the launch game. TBoGT is lowkey my favorite GTA.

Hahahaha 😂😂 (liking the humor Spider 😁😁)

Anyway I looks like Take-Two Interactive and It Subsidiaries were the only gaming company- and also the only one from the "Big 3"- to not be at EA or Gamescom this year. I just up 2018 is makes up massively for an insanely quite 2017 😭😂 (not even NBA 2K 18 or WWE 2K 18 have got trailers).

GTA Online is like Take-Two/R*'s gaming version of Apple's iPhone. Tbh the could keep updating it forever and just -I hate to say this- make RDR2 become a vapourware 😂😏

Edit: At this point we are looking at 2022 for RDR2 news..

I think R* and CR Project are lowkey playing the game who can release the least info until their games finally go gold.

I just noticed something interesting; Rockstar is releasing the DLC for GTA Online on the 29th and 2K is releasing XCOM 2: War of the Chosen on the same day as well. Is that a Coincidence or is something about to happen over at Take-Two?

Edit: @Ohsh*tDatBoi; That a fun theory 😂😂

Unlike Cyberpunk, RDR2 isn't vaporware

Don't you dare compare R* to CDPR. CDPR actually cares about their customers.

It's definitely not vaporware considering art was leaked and a ransom was asked for it this year: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-06-08-cyberpunk-2077-assets-stolen-by-actual-cyberpunks

And it was registered for funding with the Polish government too: http://www.gamezone.com/news/new-cyberpunk-2077-details-suggest-mid-2019-release-3452027

BTW,i love how it happened days before E3 and people thought that as a stunt by CD to finally reveal the game at E3.

What's even crazier, all the things they've stolen have not been leaked online, even if they wouldn't represent the game.

Sorry for off-topic,this thread is dying little by little,so something to talk about is fine.

Take-Two Interactive's inventions in the gaming industry (this is a respond to Dee.):

-Labels Structure.

-Customer-First Model

-Expansion Pack and DLCs

-Recurring Consumer Spending

-No Micro-management

-Small Independent Attitude.

-Growing mostly organically (little acquisitions unlike Activision, EA, Ubisoft etc.)

DLCs and Expansion packs have been around way before Take Two started doing them...

As have pretty much the rest. Take-Two aren't really doing anything innovative in regards to how they do business, in fact they are more often than not the ones who are always late to the latest trends.

Modern day Expansion packs were pioneered by two GTA titles: London 1969 on the PS1, and The Episodes of Liberty City on the Xbox 360/PS4. Now that influence have now spread to Infamous, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Dishonored, and even Saints Row among many others

Edit: Rockstar San Diego (formerly Angel Studios) invented a sub-genre in racing with Midnight Club that now influenced The Crew.

Nothing about that statement is true. Expansion packs predate GTA:London by quite a long time. Blizzard were doing them for Diablo and Starcraft, etc long before GTA: London entered the scene and I'm just scratching the surface there, there's loads more. As for modern day, still completely baseless. Expansion packs were absolutely not unheard of by the time GTA IV's Episodes came out, things like map packs and car packs were standard at that point and games like Oblivion had big expansions under it's belt too.

Rockstar absolutely have been at the forefront of game design for a long time, but expansion packs are absolutely not something they either invented or popularised.

Well then, so much for hopes of RDR2 news next week.

Then again R* could spring info any time they want. Here's hoping it's before September ends.

Rockstar pioneered expansions? Lol

You guys have never played Flight Simulator, have you? Not that FS pioneered DLC either :p The concept of DLC is super old and predates Rockstar Games.
