Red Dead Redemption 2: Discussion & Speculation (Part 1)

What do ya'll think about stealth? Should it be just another option for a combat scenario, a full fledged mechanic or should it be excluded all together? A lot of AAA games these days are jam-packed with all these different mechanics and end up lacking focus in my opinion. The Assassin's Creed series in particular is a culprit of this. Obviously part of the appeal of the western genre are the high-octane shootouts, but I think some light stealth in and out of missions can work, especially when it comes to hunting.

Seeing direct gameplay footage on RDR2 will be beyond amazing ... can't wait for this gameplay video, although we probably won't see it before sometime March? 2018 if they only plan to do one as with GTA V. However I'm very much looking forward to a 'real' trailer now ... 2+ minutes of calm sequences, action sequences, dialogue, animals, fighting, towns, the wilderness, hunting, ranches, fire, train robberies, ...

Yup.

 

Think about if this game was actually scheduled to come out in the Fall. We'd probably have a single player gameplay video already. Then again, we'd have a whole lot of trailers by now.

Maybe it won't even be a trailer, only a few more bits of info and new screens?

With GTA V it took some time until we got another trailer, we got flooded with screens instead but also some info. I assume that's what's gonna happen too, and at this point it wouldn't be bad at all. I just want any kind of information right now.

I wasnt expecting a second trailer until October/November anyway. Just like with V. Im hoping for previews though. If its just screens again, they can f*ck off

Im so glad after GTAOnline, i wont have to play nothing with cars for a while. Thats my only issue with GTAO..2000 different cars to drive down the same f*ckin streets smh..

Could be 5 months. RDR X1 was leaked in February 2016 and released in July IIRC
