I don't think people realise it's Take Two that want to "monetize" things, not Rockstar.

The Housers prefer single player, story focused games to online and that's a fact.

All you whining little f*ckers giving Rockstar sh*t right now will be sucking them off when we get a new trailer, so give it a rest.

You just come across as spoilt.

Yeah, innocent precious R* dont want to make ~$750m a year by doing nothing! Its all the evil parent companies fault!

 

Its time to stop living in a fairy tale..R* has the same amount of blame as Take2 does..Maybe even more.

 

And the marketing isnt gonna follow exactly into V's footsteps

IV was delayed back to April of 2008 and by then we had a few trailers, screens, and general info. We can be getting something this month for all we know. R*'s marketing is spontaneous

Its going to be interesting to see how R* handles online. How we make money especially.. Hope R* put they're own spin on things like weapons and mounts. All i ask is a great melee system, not that kick punch bullsh*t. Executions, in depth animal attacks, gore etc. On another note ill say it again, THAT ISN'T DUTCH GANG. None of them, At least imo.

Nope. But you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Story DLCs dont bring in as much money as microtransactions. Its great to be optimistic, but its better to be realistic. There are still people to this day waiting for GTAV SP DLC lol

my bad misread.. Theres a good chance for a decent singleplayer yes, and theres nothing wrong for hoping for one (duh).

But theres no point in hoping for DLC. And expect SP to get snuffed after the online component goes live. Thats where the money comes in

I would. T2 were very disappointed with GTA4's DLC sales. And I dont see them turning back and wasting more resources just to please the clear minority. I see them sticking purely with micros just like they did with V. But still, I'd like to be proven wrong

 

Besides, R* already made it clear that they dont want to split the player base.

I don't think people realise it's Rockstar that cancelled 3 SP DLCs, threw the scraps into GTA Online for a quick buck, and added scripts to prevent new Online content from being loaded into SP through glitches. The Housers prefer money and ego above all else and that's a fact.

 

I'll be buying RDR2 used.

not sure where to put this but I think the RDR2 section should be placed at the top of the sidebar on the left. right now it's waaay down on the list of subforums, it should be right above GTA Online imo. just more convenient.

We need more news and a release date first. Then it will rocket up the sidebar.

 

The GTA Next section started as a bunch of different threads in the IV section way back when. Then it was a sub-forum of IV. Then became it's own section. Then morphed into the V section. And now everybody talks about VI as Next.

 

It's just a matter of time for RDR2.
