After seeing the GoW mural art going up for E3 I had a look at Instagram to see if anything else was going up in LA and it looks like the Figueroa Hotel mural art for E3 this year is for Battlefront 2. Unsurprising for no RDR2 because of the delay.

Ok so here's a question, I remember it took less than a day for people to figure out it was Ned Luke who was the narrator in the first V trailer. How come no one has a clue who's voice it is in the RDR2 trailer?

 

Voice is Roger Clark I'm pretty sure, I think it was figured out 100 something pages ago.

I get what you're saying, but it's the spiritual successor to RDR so it can't be that bad, right? I mean, no way can it be worse than V, I believe R* are still the same but I don't want this game to disappoint.

I think what we will see is a bunch of people complaining saying things like why isn't it like RDR1, or RDR1 had this why doesn't RDR2 have it? Pretty much like the transition from SA to IV or IV to V.

Yeah! Why do fans complain when a sequel in the works for 8 years regresses!?

This game has to have all the features the first one had and more to satisfy players. There should be no reason why it shouldnt. R* has lots of employees and multiple studios have been working on this for years

Of topic here but looks like Darksiders 3 could be a contestant for GoTY 2018 even though RDR2 could potential be the winner.

I'm hoping they've built on top of RDR and not made another V in the west.

But it's their first game this gen, so my money would be on this game blowing us away!

Edit: Alternative universe: RDR2 flops, Take-Two fires the Housers, Meiers, Levines, massive layoffs, stop making sequels to any Rockstar or 2K non-sport titles, big focus on Digital, Mobile, and ESports. Then sell the company to Facebook few years later for $15 Billion.

GTA V's ragdoll physics were total crap. GTA IV had the best ragdoll physics.

I'm telling about Ragdoll Physics not just physics. Physics is good in GTA V. Ragdoll physics is not.

V's are terrible. They don't react to anything. I'm playing RDR right now, just shot someone down a hill and they rolled about 10 times, looked so realistic. In V they would just slide down with their arms by their side.. pathetic!

Every game they make is different so it's understandable that they remove some stuff and then add other stuff instead. Imagine if every single GTA was very similar to the last one that came before it that would be kinda boring TBH. Let's just hope they don't screw up the gameplay by messing up the physics or by removing crouching.

 

I don't really see them removing a lot of things in Red Dead Redemption 2 that were in RDR1.
