Why not? Seeing as the game (probably) takes place at about the same time RDR takes place, it would be nice to have some diversity in weaponry. It would totally suck if we only got the same kind of weapons. Plus, there could be an option to whip it out your sleeve and shoot someone with it whilst playing poker or something, as an "Evil"option. I think it could be implemented in a few cool ways.

I just find it strange that many people aren't expressing concern over this game being to much focus online and neglecting the campaign(looking at you V) I just hope there's an equal balance of both so as not to divide the player base. Although from the looks of the description my fears seem to be coming true

 

I'm excited to have something like GTA Online set in the old west but I also fear that singleplayer could be neglected because of it. Hopefully they learned from V and that doesn't happen because the singleplayer experience was what made RDR so great.

Because it's such a GTA Onlineish thing. Scorsese made it badass in Taxi Driver, from a very disturbed mind. Tarantino made it "cool" for the kids who play rap music riding horses.

It's not a cool thing in a western settings, especially in a videogame.

3,707 employees as of 2017 up 2,933 in 2016 so this how i see it: Rockstar Games- 1,200; 2K [2K Games, 2K Sports]- 1,500; Social Point- 330; parent company Take-Two Interactive- 677. The hirings are increasing especially after poaching Ubisoft Montreal's staffs.

 

Edit: Yeah R* and 2K have Ubisoft people now . Another Note, I will love to see New York develop their first title post-RDR2.

The departure of Leslie lead to the departure of many other key employees that have been there since the beginning. The departure of Leslie lead to a 4 year Rockstar game drought. The departure of Leslie brought us this nausea-inducing screenshot.

Edit: Yeah he is the Greatest game developer on the planet.. NOT. With 1.2k employees alot of greatness can happen just look at Ubisoft's Montreal with 2k employees (even though it not the best example to use) but For Honor came from that studio.
