Rockstar don't reuse old protagonists (Max Payne being the obvious exception) so I'll be surprised if we play as John again. Maybe we play as someone else from his old gang. Or that photo could be an entirely new gang of outlaws.

What about GTA III Claude in San Andreas? he was in the game for an entire 2 minutes!!!

don't know if it would be that requested to have it added in.

 

although they should make the wasted screen more subtle while "drowning' if they don't add swimming.

 

kinda weird to be wasted after just stepping in to deep water :p

That article is from 2013... Who knows? Maybe he came back?

 

"Hey man, I know you aren't working any more, but do you want to come back for one game and a sh*t ton of money?"

 

Yeah, of course he'd come back. Without a second thought.

 

 

The main point that the voice actor made was that Hollywood lead to too many dead ends and it was too hard to try and find work as well as raise a family, however if that work knocks on your door, it would be a bit stupid to turn it down.

 

Like you said if Rockstar made him an offer, I'm sure he'd take it

What year will it be set in you think? Can't be as recent as RDR but if it's too old the gun technology is not as good. 1885?

1885 sounds great! anywhere from 1830 to 1895 would be good.

 

don't want a early 1900's setting again.

I just hope that we have one protagonist this time round. It was a nice bonus and all in V but I prefer them to focus on one protag and really flesh out their story rather than bounce from protag to protag. If they do this again, I certainly hope there will be more missions in the main story than there was in V....69 story missions for 3 protags...I still LOL.

The way they did multiples in IV was perfect.

 

Please Rockstar....my biggest want is a singular protagonist with an amazing and lengthy story. I also can't wait to see what they will do with the open world.

What about GTA III Claude in San Andreas? he was in the game for an entire 2 minutes!!!I meant in terms of playing as them again. I could see John appearing in the next game for a cameo (Rockstar loves those lately), if they get his voice actor back.

There's way to many western stories for them to reuse the story. i would like to see a magnificent seven mashed up with a tombstone. Or maybe start out as like the regulators then end up like billy the kid after tunstall dies.

I'd rather they did something of their own. A mashup of two good movies doesn't necessarily mean a good story will come out of it.

How about SEVEN protagonists? LOL. The switching wheel would look like a pizza and would be incredibly hard to use.
