Hangar 13 is working on an announced title maybe Take Two shows that off though it would be kinda early for Hangar 13 just after Mafia 3 to show another title.

I don't know if this has been posted before...I have something I've been thinking about recently that I'd like to share...if we do end up getting multiple characters in RDR 2 do y'all think that each character will have a special ability like in V? You know like mike could slow down time while shooting and Trevor had that like rage type thing where he didn't take any damage...if so what do you think would be some possible ideas? I'm thinking maybe one character has like a dual wield ability while another has dead eye and maybe we have a horse specialist who can get more stamina out of his horses.

 

Edit: personally I felt like that made V feel kinda gimmicky and I didn't feel like it belonged in GTA so I'm kinda on the fence with the whole idea myself.

Yeah, I think if they stick with three protagonists they'll all have "unique" superpowers. Hopefully it's greatly overhauled, though. In GTA it was mostly useless. If you could make it through any past GTA game without superpowers you're not gonna need them to get through GTA V. They may have really appealed to the casual gamer but I found the only time I ever used them was when it as required for 100% completion.

 

If they tied it more to the actual gameplay it could be cool. Like maybe you can choose which character you want to play each mission as and one is stealthy while another is far more accurate with a gun. Not sure what the third would be but it's a moot point. Rockstar's not big on giving players choices during missions. It's generally a highly scripted car chase or a shoot your way from Point A to Point B affair.

 

The upside of them sticking to GTA V's superpower system, though, would be that it was pretty much optional. You never really had to use them if you didn't want to.

I have a question: I've pre-ordered the game back in January and i still have the original receipt. But it's all old crumpled and faded. Does gamestop save your order via your cellphone or something? I don't want those c u c k s to screw me over.

Correct. You're in their system so they can see your order by name or phone number.

Anyone watch that GTA tv series april fool's trailer from IGN? That will be a hit show if it ever happen. And that $$ OMG. Take-Two will be over the moon.

 

Edit: I am glad June starts with something great, Wonder Woman. I will go see that to forget about RDR2 for a while.
