What's good everyone?! I've been horribly sick the past few days with the worst flu of my life...finally got some sleep last night for the first time in 2 days and I'm feeling better but still sh*tty, don't really feel like reading the past 10 or so pages I missed, would someone kindly fill me in if we've gotten any new RDR2 news? Any new leaks or such? I doubt it but still worth asking. Thanks in advance!

Thanks man I'm tryin to get better but holy hell its been a tough few days I was borderline getting ready to call an exorcist last night lmfao...legit felt like I was dying...I was actually on here the first day that post started that's when I first started getting sick so I never made it to the end so I will head on over there now. But I have a hunch that sh*t was fake as a pornstars tits. Just doesn't look like red dead to me.

Rockstar is big enough for that to not be an issue. It will likely have FPV.

If they add FPV to online I hope they fix the jarring third person animations issue where other players appear to be standing sort of sideways awkwardly.

Being an experienced player is not called an exploiter.

 

You dont have to be experienced to strafe left and right and spam R2 with a marksman rifle. Is that what you call skill? Its a huge advantage over 3rd person players

 

Just fix your Controller Layouts, like Standard and FPS standard. 1:Go Settings. 2: Fix your 1p and 3p Controll Types.

Yay.A game they released nearly 4 years ago is one of the best selling games in 2017, besting some of the big anticipated titles for the year thus far..of course they're going to support it like crazy, they'd be stupid not to. lol

Never thought that we would come close to that number with RDR2. 204 days and counting...

Yeah they announced it pretty early. This and the fact that Max Payne was their brand new game. You'd think things would be different now, given that we have not had anything new since 2013. Guess GTA V and Online are still doing way too good.

Yeah they announced it pretty early. This and the fact that Max Payne was their brand new game. You'd think things would be different now, given that we have not had anything new since 2013. Guess GTA V and Online are still doing way too good.It's not just GTAV'S success and sales but timing too. 2017 has seen a slate of great games, a lot of them that were on most anticipated lists and now possible GOTYs, to a new hardware launch. Nobody cared about games releasing at the end of the year with all that, save for folks on a Rockstar forum. lol

 

Now that we're entering the summer lull, it's when all eyes are looking forward and as such why we're seeing announcements and reveals for CoD, Destiny 2, possible Assassin's Creed etc to E3. So now the timing would be right.

like spider has said before, its not out of the norm for R* to go this quiet. As for next week tho? looks like just a set up for the next update if u ask me. But idk, With a deal with Sony and the BIGGEST game expo in the world only 30 days away. Why not just wait, and level E3 with the whole industry tuning in? but hey whatever happens happen... but R* logic is "Perfection is a dish better served late" lets just pray that isnt the case with RDR2.

I've lost count how many times I've read "Rockstar don't do E3". Let's just get our facts straight though, because they DO do E3, they just don't do it themselves.

 

This is why I think that (assuming no delay) Rockstar would release a substantial RDR2 trailer prior to E3, so that Sony and MS would have derivative or related material to show. There's just no way they would let third parties release substantial new marketing content about the game itself. No way.

 

 

All my nightmares would become true if during the PlayStation presser they show the first trailer for RDR2 again and mention the exclusive deal and then that was it. If that's their plan they better don't mention RDR2 at all during the press conference ... would be extremely disappointing to just see the debut trailer again.

Agree. It would be trollmaster city if Rockstar pulls that sh*t - lets the console makers rehash old footage; rubbing our collective faces in it. I don't know how I could hate Rockstar marketing any more, but I'd find a way.
