I hope you guys are right about May 18th, but I can almost see R* mentioning the anniversary and annoucing some discounts at R* Warehouse on some old RDR-related merchandise, while pretending there was no RDR2 trailer launched 6 months ago.

What if R* is thinking "Ok so everyone is hoping to get new info on the 18th or the 24th because of the RDR anniversary and/or the investors calls and all that stuff, that's why we won't give them news on these days" and we get news before (like today thursday) or after in early June just to don't do the obvious? I personally prefer an E3 announcement over a R* Newswire announcement. E3 is a special event for me and my friends.

 

Though I don't like the fact that we have to suffer through another month of drought.

Either Next week May 16th - 18th they could announce the GunRunning update. The 18th isn't set in stone. And just because it's a anniversary, don't really mean sh*t. I mean, i can't remember when R* used a anniversary to reveal something. Seems to cliche for R*. And besides, Almost every title Sony Does a deal with, always show something at #E3 or PSX. But When next week rolls in and nothing happens, watch the whining about R* staying silent bs begin. If R* dont say anything past E3 & june its more than likely some kind of development hiccup. But I highly doubt it imo.

The anticipation is higher now while T2's conference call closing fiscal 2017 is approaching. Starting from this weekend, there will be a lot of sweat and a feeling of vertigo during next week. I tell you, only a Rockstar game can do anything close to this to me.

We've pinned down "relevant dates" to look out for every month since release, and they've come and gone with nothing, sadly.

 

I still have a sliver of hope for May though. The impending Take Two conference will surely have executives preferring some kind of announcement in place from Rockstar prior.

I absolutely 100% agree. Well unless it's a naughty dog title lol. I hate this feeling of uncontrollable anticipation. That's y a Release Date means everything rn. I'll be glad wen I can go about my day without

Being thirsty for info. Now do you understand why R* keep a stiched lipped, the anticipation due to quality is second to none. R* could literally release a title with no details, no images blank case, and guess what people will line up Lol. This is why I set the bar so high for Games i play, I can't play these mediocre ass bland titles. Like Ubisoft games, these 100 FPS's I can't support them. I'll wait for a quality game idgaf.
