I asked Mobe about GTA VI update. Hopefully, he will answer me soon. IMO, I believe that GTA VI is in full development now and is probably where GTA V was when the GameInformer cover issue came out for V. I'd say a year and half until release.

Wut? Lol, no. In fact all the focus is on RDR2 right now. GTA VI is definitely in development as Spider said but all their studios are helping each other to finish RDR2.

Who do you guys think plays the main protag? I think they've been in a R* title before R* has reused a couple people who have done minor stuff for them before like Mario D'Leon the guy who played Luis in TBOGT did stunts for SA, and Shawn Solo Fonteno who played Franklin in V voiced a ped in SA. R* is like HBO reusing actors lol

They need a subtitle that's just me I'll play GTA VI sure but when it gets to the point of VII,VIII, and IX I'm not playing a GTA called 7,8,9 I know I sound crazy but I'm serious

If you think us discussing the next GTA in this thread is weird you should see it on some other days. If RDR was a paint colour I think we'd all watched it dry for something to do.

Finally joined just so I could join in on discussing what we hope to see in the game, though I'm probably super late.

 

I hope the horses will act even more lifelike this time around and given more features to riding. I would love the ability to perform sliding stops when you're slowing down from a gallop. Shadow of the Colossus had that feature with the horse Agro like twelve years ago, so I'll honestly be disappointed if they didn't work in that feature in RDR 2. It's a very typical 'western style' riding trick too. It would also be cool if you could grow more of a bond with your horse like have it change its behaviour towards you the longer you spend time together. And for pete's sake have the horse be more hardy than simply dropping dead from having a cougar scratch its butt or walk over a 3 feet ledge.

 

Also, given the complaints of the first game, I dare bet you will be able to swim this time around, or at most be able to wade in water up to your neck before you drown.

 

The bounty hunts: if they're still a part of it which I'm guessing they are. I always thought it was too easy to find them in the first game. Perhaps this will also be given more of a challenge, like the poster indeed lets you know where the bounty target was last seen, but when you get there, he's no longer there so you have to use tracking skills to find him.

 

I'm also guessing the shot of someone riding with a native in a canoe hints you may have more of a friendship with them this time around, which would be nice when all the natives in the first game apart from Nastas were just enemies.
