I've only got the Xbox briefing confirmed, but might be better to cover the Playstation one from my hotel since that's the most likely one we'll get new info.

That's less a secret and more common practice these days. Fallout 4 was announced just before E3, Destiny 2, EA with Battlefront, NFS, Fifa etc using their pre-E3 event EA Play, Ubisoft are rumoured to be announcing the new AC within 1-2 weeks. Every one does it these days.

None of us has a guarantee of a solid working internet connection for the rest of his/her life. And no matter how quick your connection is, A physical copy can be (un)installed in a much more consumer friendly way if you're like me and don't want to invest in a external hard-drive just for games(if that HDD fails you'll have to re-download everything from PSN anyway so...)

 

No wonder EA makes a lot of money trough the Digital business I bought Battlefield 1 the other day because it was by far the cheapest option but thats an exception I'll try to go 100% physical from now on.

ok don't want to go totally Offtopic so I stick with R*.

here's why physical is superiour to me.

RDR 2 physical vs. Digital:

1.Its yours 100% you can do whatever you want, insert,and play or re-install instantly, no waiting time, only the patches are downloaded in the background. 2. Sell,exchange it.

3. If you don't have internet access for some reason you can atleast play the goddamn game while you would be totally lost if you wanted to play a game you purchased digitally and it is not installed at that time... things like that

I don't see much if any real benefits in Digital content then again I'm not the type of guy that would stream high quality content for ours (except for live streams i don't want to miss) I usually download then i know its mine and I can watch whenever i want instead of relying on a connection.

Benefits I see in Digital:

You don't have to get your a** up and go to the next store?

You get the game on launch day no matter what (thats not a real argument as Pre-ordered physical copies should arrive on time in todays world)

Edit: This my sound weird and ironic but i think T2 should drop $400 million on the table and buyout THQ Nordic. Darksiders and Destroy All Humans are cult games that could become massive hits under T2. And it should become THQ Europe and also a publishing label.

I'm 100% sure GTA VI is in development as we speak. AAA game studios have several teams within them, even if the bulk of it is making the game that's having a higher priority right now. Let me show you a real leak straight from the GTA V PS3 game files:

This is the QA Log for GTA V's development. Rockstar left it in the Playstation 3 files accidentally, along with other debug stuff. The first build of GTA V was made in 2009. In 2009, Max Payne 3 was in development, so was Agent, and RDR1, and the IV DLC's. The concept stages of V very likely began as early as 2007 or 2008, as is normal. First you conceptualise, brainstorm ideas, implement test things. Then, you start creating actual builds of the game to build upon your ideas.

 

GTA VI is definitely in development. The GTA Online team isn't the main development team. They have hundreds of employees. They don't need hundreds to design Online DLC's, a few cars, and weapons, that are likely from the beta stages of the base game.

I think that Lake Michigan area is perfect for a multi-city GTA game. Have both Chicago and Detroit and a giant lake for the body of water in the middle. Yeah, that'd be grouse.

Why. Seriously, why. Chicago stopped being interesting the day prohibition was abolished, and Detroit is a 3rd world hellhole rotting from the inside-out. Detroit is just a failed industrial city, there's no unique culture or historical significance outside of car manufacturing. It's a few square miles of bland generic cityscape, surrounded by a sea of abandonded industrial parks and neighbourhoods. f*cking Baltimore would be more interesting.

 

There is a 95% chance GTA 6 is going to be in Miami, and a 5% chance of it being in London.

If they go to modern day NYC again, I'm going to let loose a pack of rabid badgers into R* North headquarters.
