Has anyone considered that the reason the 7 outlaws at the end of the trailer don't match up with the ones on the original artwork is simply because Rockstar deliberately swapped some of the character models out but kept others the same just to keep us guessing?

I can see how you would think that but some of the characters are exactly the same as the ones on the artwork. Also I could be mistaken but I don't think Rockstar have ever had a trailer or gameplay with with single player and multiplayer in it.

I could be wrong, but thats what it seems like to me.I think they're doing what they do with GTA a lot of the people on promotional materials like posters or artwork aren't in the game at all or if they are have a very small part in the game. Like the lollipop girl all over the IV stuff with that six finger hand she's not in IV or Misty she was all over the GTA 3 stuff but had a very small part in GTA 3. Edited May 7, 2017 by Zello

I think they're doing what they do with GTA a lot of the people on covers aren't in the game at all or if they are have a very small part in the game. I speculate that the Roger Clark front and center guy will be THE main character much like Micheal was in GTA 5. He'll be the typical tough cowboy type with the most generic dead eye ability, the other guy we play as is the dual wielding old man who is a Civil War vet and because of this he is a loose cannon - and he'll be the only one with the dual wield ability. Finally the third character is the Native American with the sawed off shotgun and he'll be more geared towards stealth and hunting.

Same here. The Stranger's Missions were always either weird or depressing as hell. lol

I never finished the first game but played alot especially free roaming and buying stuffs. I cannot remember now if they was a shoe with knife on it? Will be cool if that returned in RDR2.

There could be a resemblance to maybe the guy in the middle but there is a woman, even a black guy in the trailer, the silhouette has neither.

I believe that's how the gang met Abigail and she was passed around and you know the rest. Haha.

John and her then began a relationship soon after. It would be interesting to see how her and John connected and how the gang reacted to this sort of thing.

Same man! If it really is a prequel... I wanna see how these guys met and who met who, when and where. Can't wait to see the relationship between John and Bill especially with John thinking of him as a brother as he mentioned in Red Dead Redemption. I wanna see how these guys worked on the same page with one another and got along so to speak. Maybe, the early arguments start throughout this story with one another until ultimately the gangs ultimate betrayal on John.
