You know what I learned in this thread? its that The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption have similarities at all, the games are complete polar opposites of each other. Hell, its like the same as comparing Tetris to Call of Duty.

Is it really, though? What about the horse riding emphasis and the open exploration? The bounty (monster) hunting and morally complex stories? You'll be hard-pressed to find such common ground between Tetris and any shooter out there.

 

 

I wish the horse riding in TW3 was as good as RDR's, though.

You obviously got some kind of issue accepting that RDR2 and The Witcher 3 are similar games, and that RDR3 may in fact, somewhat resemble The Witcher 3. So we'll leave it at that.

No, no no. You are missing the point again. I am saying ONE THING ONLY - that your comparison between two games because they feature horses and open landscapes is stupid, but comparing two games from the same company in the same engine is logical and sensible.

 

But I agree, there's no point discussing this further. You're just going to continue to miss the point and say stupid things over and over again.

I always said it would be good to have a Redemption Prequel where you play as John before he turned good.

 

Not saying that's what this is, but a similar "outlaws" style story would be so good!

aslong as it is story focused without to much of a online part (redemption style multiplayer is good) and is set back in the 1800's then i'm in.

at this point i will be ok with multiple portags as long as its not another damn mmo

me to. just not bring in a "forced" co op gimmick either.

 

i want this franshise to stay full on story focused without any gimmicks or gta online type ideas.
