They probably took it down to avoid confusion. No one searches for rdr2, they just search rdr.

Spoke with one of the owners of the pages the other day. He told me the pages were just randomly deleted, almost all of them a few days ago. Also coincidentally the FB/RedDeadRedemption 2 link is finally connected to Rockstar.

I'm increasingly convinced we all experienced the same hallucinatory LSD trip in October and just haven't realized it yet. As such Rockstar are going about their ordinary business while we chase their tail, without understanding that we are in fact chasing our own tail, for there was never a RDR2. RDR2 is basically Tyler Durden.

I used to notice they linked a Facebook page that had like 60k Likes, can't remember if it was just the official one or not, but after all this happened I was on their site randomly and noticed they only have nearly 300 Likes now. I wonder have they blanket deleted any that have "RDR2" or Red Dead Redemption in the name in case fans think they are official? Red Dead Forums and RDonlineNews are untouched.

Gta 5 was announced in Oct 2011 with screens in june 2012. R* weren't prepared at the time it was revealed and there was no specific timeframe for release. This time around R* is prepared (hopefully) and the last info we got was in Oct. 2016 . We have a release date slated for fall 2017 this time and this info drought is going to end. Pls R*. Yeah when I heard the fan pages were going down I did wonder if the RedDeadForums one would survive. Although its still up I have noticed that it used to be set to be related to Red Dead Redemption. This relationship is no longer apparent but it looks to be a wider issue. I can only set the Category to "Games/Toys", whereas before I swear you able able to set it to individual games/pages.

There is obviously something going on before the Undead Nightmare and Red Dead Revolver pages are seemingly untouched. So I'm guessing its being revamped to be a page for the entire Red Dead Redemption series.

Different rules. Perhaps Facebook is cracking down on pages or groups with fake news? Its not like Rockstar themselves are removing them. Plus there's only like 2 or 3 accounts on Twitter that are fan accounts covering the game including Kirsty's.

If fan groups on Facebook are being removed I wouldn't look too much into it. It's possible Rockstar are removing them for whatever reason (usually to avoid confusion), but it's also entirely possible that they fell into pettiness among the people who run it or greed - Facebook groups with a good amount members can and often do sell for as surprising amount of money. It's a bit strange but probably nothing.

The strange thing is it occurred around the same time the official page went offline. I wouldn't think much of it usually but the timing is definitely odd. I still don't understand why they would need to take the page down, even if they do have a big update scheduled for it.

Edit: Also, I'm having a real hard time seeing the November 21. If you could explain it or if there is a .png version, that would be great.
