Red Dead Redemption 2: Discussion & Speculation (Part 1)

Hi everyone, big rdr fan here and I've been lurking on this forum for some time now since this is one of the few places that I know of that still discusses things about rdr2 and finding small gems that may relate to the game. The reason why I joined up now is because I think I found something interesting last night. It may not relate to rdr2, but we all seem thirsty for just about anything at this moment.

If anyone has watched the first few episodes of Westworld, there was a lawman character that took William and Logan on a bounty hunt. The actor that played the lawman is Chris Browning and if you have ever heard him, you'd immediately associate his voice with westerns, a very rugged voice. When I first heard him in the show I thought he'd be so suited to be in rdr2. I had a skim through his instagram last night and found

What he wrote in the description bar I thought was interesting. Again, not claiming this is 100% rdr2 motion capture, as I'm not sure when mocap is done in game development (picture posted 3 weeks ago) I'm probably grasping at straws since this could be any game. Just thought it'd be fun to share.

I agree, just look at all the delays they did, they should've learnt by now to only announce when they are really ready and not delay again.

While I think that RDR2 will lose some momentum if it is to be released this Fall because it would be situated close to other blockbuster titles, it's reasonable to think that it's still on its way since T2 doesn't have anything else substantial slated for fiscal year 2018. I'm positive about incoming news, including a new trailer, sometime within the next three weeks.

One of the things I'm really excited about is the wildlife in RDR2. It was already great in RDR but no doubts this time it will be fabulous! Hunting was really one thing that never gets old in RDR and that added a lot to the replay value of the game. Gonna rewatch the first trailer for RDR2, so good even if it doesn't show much and is mostly considered a teaser. Hopefully we'll get another trailer soon and I'm hoping they'll make a gameplay video too, those are always fun to watch!

I remember this picture being discussed here weeks ago. Did we come to a conclusion?

Wild life is definitely something I'm very interested about as well. Knowing some wildlife can possibly give birth is something I want to see how R* implement. I don't think Hunting will be as easy as Rdr. I personally think things like stealth, tracking and how you kill wildlife should play a factor as well.

I'm increasingly convinced we all experienced the same hallucinatory LSD trip in October and just haven't realized it yet. As such Rockstar are going about their ordinary business while we chase their tail, without understanding that we are in fact chasing our own tail, for there was never a RDR2. RDR2 is basically Tyler Durden.
