Note-Edit: If T2 ever buys Zenimax it will be cool and weird to see GTA, Red Dead, BioShock, Quake, Fallout, and Elder Scrolls under one roof.

That would be horrible imo what's up with you and wanting T2 to buy up every single developer out there in order to have some sort of monopoly in the video game industry.

April 1st. oh ok u right but just because ends the 31st don't mean it starts the 1st I believe it's 13 days from the end to the pay date of the fy.

Haha nice one but the shocking thing is T2 is getting to a milestone in a year without GTA. And another $50-100 million in their sheets every quarter going forward from both mobile free-to-play (Social Point) and e-sports (NBA 2K Eleague) is just Great. Interestingly Strauss Zelnick is building out his Family Trusts ownership in T2.

In my opinion we really might be pointing to June (E3) at least I am and I'm sure others to be that month where it all starts. Who knows really? I suppose when it does happen it'll just happen. "IF" Red Dead Redemption 2 does make an appearance at E3 how would you guys and gals want to see it shown? In the beginning of the press conference (whether Microsoft's or Sony's), somewhere in the middle of the show or the very end to close it out?

I think that they won't be at E3 instead they'll release a trailer on their website while E3 is going on or the day right before E3

 

 

Yes, I kind of think they will do something substantial, a trailer rather than screenshots, in (late) May, to both upstage E3, showing the world they don'r need it, and also to pre-hype and provide demo content that Sony can use at E3 without stealing Rockstar thunder.

 

The Sony demo may include a tiny snippet of extra stuff not in the trailer, just so they have some new little thing to show. But the RDR2 May trailer is meant to be the actual reveal, undercutting and upstaging E3. The reason I think this, is because it would be a Rockstar marketing ego trip, right in their psychological sweet spot.

I think most of all we'll have new screenshots or marketing materials before a trailer. I don't recall Rockstar launching a teaser trailer, being silent, and suddenly launching another trailer again.

I think the odds are more favorable for Destiny 2 given its getting it's gameplay trailer next month too. I guess we'll find out next week I imagine or the week after.

At least we got some news today with the word ''Red'' in from Rockstar. That's the closest we have been to Red Dead Redemption 2 news in 6 months.

Hey, I was pretty damn close! Except I predicted that the Bicycle Race announcement would be in May instead of April:

 

I had a nightmare about Rockstar Newswire last night, and it consisted of this...

 

April: New GTA Online Adversary Modes!

 

May: NYC Bicycle Race!

 

June: Nothing.

 

July: New GTA Online Content! Tie-dye T-shirts, only available for a limited time!

 

August: Red Dead Redemption 2 delayed.

 

Eh, I don't think that will happen. But it's better to be prepared for the worst, and hope for the best.

Well Kotaku still think it's coming this year :p I guess they wouldn't know otherwise, but it's definitely lining up to be a busy fall 2017.
