Guys, no company, especially Rockstar would do this because of a simple brand change. The hell. Just look at the old RDR artwork and you'll see the pattern in the background is the exact same. Also, they would not start replacing all images on their social networks and their websites for a GTAO DLC two weeks a way, they haven't even done this for things like heists. Sure, sure, it seems surreal but there's no question this is Red Dead...

Yea something big is gonna happen. People are trying to falsify it because it seems too good to be true, the same thing happened with the leaked map.

 

 

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a formal teaser this morning about the new game.

I'm incredibly excited about this but extremely cautious of getting hyped. There's already people talking about how it'll look and they're being incredibly unrealistic about it. There's going to be a lot of sad faces, even if this game is objectively the best game ever.

..This doesnt make any sense? The console doesnt have to be out officially. At E3 2013 (before PS4 came out) there were plenty of games that had that subtitle before demos or trailers

Great news, I'd say it's more than likely something to do with the next Red Dead. But you never know, next few weeks will be interesting.

Well I mean, V looked good on NG and it was originally an LG game so I'm excited to see what the new version of RAGE can do, but obviously don't go expecting photorealistic rendering as if it was a 3ds Max render.

 

@frantz: Not necessarily always. There were V significant news on Mondays and Wednesdays, including its announcement.

I agree. Its gonna be another GTAV situation if people get too hyped again. Trust me. Im a victim of that myself.

The updates came at around 2pm GMT yesterday so hopefully we get something more around the same time today. That would be about 9am Eastern if I'm not mistaken which would line up with the start of the working day. RDR2 was the best looking game ever on consoles when it was released, its not unreasonable to expect a similar situation with RDR3.

 

But then again, I wouldn't say the same about GTA V. With that game, they focused way too much on the draw distance, like its not that important.

It was canyonjack that posted the image I'm talking about, but that pic you posted is pretty unrealistic too.

 

Let's be honest, people. It's going to look a bit better than V on CG consoles, but that's about it. With the decreased number of buildings they'll be able to notch up the detail on the landscape, but I don't expect this to push any boundaries graphically - RDRedemption pushed the PS3 to the limits, to the point that it actually killed two of my PS3s. I don't see this being a console breaker, but it'll look good enough. The main thing is capturing the atmosphere that RDRedemption had, and from the hint we've had from V's countryside and desert, I don't think we have anything to worry about there.
