Revolver was a bastardized unfinished Capcom game that Rockstar bought, reworked, and put out. It is not really known by the majority of Redemption players (hence why you see "rdr2" said so much leading up to now)

 

BUT you do have that point -

 

Hence, and as such, yes, this could just be "Red Dead Remastered", but it most likely is the continuation of John Marston's son's life after he became his father.

 

 

 

FYI, this forum is not oficially related to R*, is just made by the community.
They know as much as you and me about all of this.

 

This forum's staff visits rockstar sometimes, one admin is a cousin of them, it's unofficial, yes, but it is also officially recognized and supported by Rockstar Games. they do know more than we do, before we know, often have to bite their tongues about stuff they know, and some say some of them even work for Rockstar.

 

This forum is not as "unofficial" as you think. It's unofficial as much as it has to be, and that's all. This is the officially recognized GTA community, which, again, has often in the past been supported by rockstar and the staff invited to their offices to see things long before any of us do.

 

Remember "The Benz" filter? That was literally done so that Rockstar could keep track of news and releases about that without having to sift through this forum's conjecture about it all. Have I been told that? No. But I know that's why it was done

Rockstar has gone out and mentioned that the game code for Redemption was so bad, they had to stitch everything together to make it work, which is why we never got a PC port

Okay, lets think for a sec. Why would R* post plain RED without any context if they were teasing something like bully? Its not like R* are novices that dont know what they're doing. They knew what reaction they would get from this. Thats why the only people thinking this isnt red dead are "geniuses" on this forum because "red can mean anything.

R* wouldnt tease table tennis as if its some huge successful game like this. In fact, they will probably never release a table tennis 2 considering the first one was just a playable tech demo. And if it were may payne or bully or whatever, they wouldve teased it in another way. A way distinctively different from one of theyre biggest franchises, 'RED DEAD REDEMPTION'

It most likely will be a prequel...

 

RDR took place in 1911 at the end of the Wild West..unless it takes place like right after the events of RDR

How long do you guys think it's going to take Rockstar to announce the release date? Or even launch a trailer? I think probably like 15 to 30 days.

 

I think there's a very good chance it's this week. Don't want to put my tinfoil hat on too tightly, but the planned two week update gap for GTA Online is conspicuously weird. They've been doing this delayed-release content in all their recent updates - Stunts update had 'em, as did the CEO update. And those extra cars all dropped weekly. But suddenly this time, it's Bikers one week; a couple vehicles the next week... and then a week off? Too weird, unless Rockstar wants zero distraction from something ELSE. And with this image appearing, I think it's probably the opening salvo of a very long Red Dead PR campaign.

I can't wait hear the musical score in the next Red Dead title. Red Dead Redemption's was brilliant. I love starting the game up and right when the Main Menu pops up a little "jingle" would play upon hitting a button that would take you into Single Player or Multiplayer.

The marketing already feels "GTA V-ish" to me (the logo on nearly every Rockstar website). A little worried about the infamous "in a few weeks or so" wait during marketing that Rockstar mentions and goes dark for months! And I mean months!

 

Don't tell me the trailer will drop on 11.02.16

The amount of hype on Twitter and Facebook after the teaser is huge. I don't think they will wait a week and let the hype die down before they at least announce it. I think they'll announce it sometime this week. And hopefully we get a trailer this week or next.
