I think we'll see something this month. Given that Destiny 2's gameplay reveal is next month, I think there's a very good chance that this months GI is RDR2. Maybe. Hopefully. Should be announced this week anyway...

Could be but then watch it be something like Agents of Mayhem on the cover. I was thinking a Destiny 2 cover would be a stronger case but the thing now working against that is Bungies roadmap for reveals and GI usually do a month of stuff on their site, which usually would mean we would see some gameplay then but that's obviously not supposed to be the case.

 

We'll find out in the next day or so.

If we're going to speculate, this week's bonuses weren't posted on the Newswire, they were left for the Social Club Events page only, maybe it's a way of leaving the Thursdays clear for RDR2 stuff and it's beginning!

Well before it gets out of hand Digital Foundry is expected to reveal and show off the Scorpio's specs with Forza this week, possibly Thursday, but no RDR2.

Spider-Vice may very well be right. Even if there isn't any kind of announcement this week, it could be a small change in procedure to the Rockstar website to prepare for the shift towards the new title.

Yeah, so, before it does get out of hand, I did mention I was joking. It would be nice, but Rockstar sometimes just changes how they act on a whim, and we're all expectant and then nothing happens. However, April feels more right than ever, so we'll be back here every single week saying there could be something

 

(Still don't get why the Online bonuses don't move to the Social Club for good, it's not like they don't spam them on all social networks)

I'm hopeful for this this week, but we'll see. If the GI cover doesn't turn out to be RDR2 it'll be interesting to see what happens, it is possible they'll do their reveal and info blowout another way.

At this point any info from R* is a huge event. I can see them releasing a trailer about an upcoming trailer.

Its been a while since they've posted much of the Red Dead fan art though. They've been almost suspiciously quiet on that front the last few months. Not saying that its a sure thing but its good to see they haven't forgotten that the title exists.

So I just clicked a link in the notifications, someone liked a post in this topic. I clicked on it and scrolled down looking for the post I made and what the conversation was etc. And then I see it. Everyone talking about a trailer going down right now. Everyone losing their minds. I look at the time and wonder why they would do it at this time. They never announce stuff at this time. What is going on? My heart starts to race with excitement. And then I see it. The date. October 16. I was on the first page of this topic.

Daaayum, that sucks.

Not necessarily a protagonist. He could just be a major character, as the opposite of 'Lead' role is 'Supporting' role.

I was under the impression that lead is synonymous with protagonist. Maybe a native American English speaker can confirm.

Someone posted the days over the years for the May's cover reveal....seems to be between April 4th to April 9th

Another interesting find Jabalous, another thing to add to the Treasure Hunt. I can't wait to see if all these finds we've gathered are truly in the game.

 

Lead actor I would say is just one of the main characters. In TV shows leads are the first names in the opening credits, with supporting cast listed towards the end and only appearing on the sides.

I don't believe there was anything suggesting Clark was the lead, just the possibility of his involvement in the project and his voice sounding similar to the one in the announcement trailer.

 

This would be iirc the first bit of info suggesting the importance of a role.
