I think what we're looking for is "sh*t that should have been added onto the game originally but devs wanted to rush the project for sales therefore cut said content for future sales and play it off as DLC"

 

Alas, car customization and clothing options for Lincoln Clay aka Mafia 3 just as recent.

 

But this is Rockstar. They wouldn't do that.

 

Edit, yes I know that update for Mafia is FREE, but the other "three stories" They have planned for release are not free.

 

Dont be too sure. This is the same R* that seemingly abandoned single player. The same R* that made ONLINE the main focus for their biggest franchise

I wouldn't say they abandoned SP just yet. Now the game ain't brand new, but it's not ten years old either. But look at it this way.

 

After the story for GTA V, different people picked different endings. The only way they could make all characters come alive again, based on everyone's play through, are from flash backs. Franklins, is pretty basic. He's lived in LS (his entire life?)

 

Mike and Trevor have a past, obviously. If they were to do a single player DLC, it would most likely revolve around them traveling and robbing. Which could require map expansions. But as of Mikes background, we don't know much except that he moved himself and family to Los Santos to get away from the crime. Where he came from originally, I don't think we ever learned. But I'm getting off topic.

 

Rockstar is a video game company but they're also a business as well. That has to pay A LOT of people in and out of the office.

Rockstar is also the only company that could literaly announce a new game and release it the same day and it would sell millions of copies.

LOL, let's not get carried away. Nothing in Rockstar's history lends your theory any weight. Since the announcement of GTA4, all of their games have had an average 20 months between announcement and release. ALL of them.

 

There's just as much likelihood of Valve announcing and releasing Half-Life 3 on the same day, haha. ;-)

Nah. Not saying it is. Frankly, I've been passed it and have been content with Online. To be honest I'm ready for GTA 6, but I'll take RD3 as a substitute. Just trying to explain on WHY it wasn't done.

redemption was announced in April 2009 and released May 2010. So I think we'll get it next year Nov. And plus theyve been working on this for quite awhile. They announced V too early

IF AND IF IT WAS... Would you guys be mad if it really was a new Midnight Club? Now with Rockstar's Crews feature? This obviously wouldn't happen but just saying, WHAT IF?

 

And can you guys imagine what multiplayer is going to be like in the new Red Dead? I'm hyped as hell to see what Rockstar is going do. We can probably actually drink in the saloons this time, choose to maybe have a one on one duel with someone or maybe "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" twist to the mix and add another person in the duel, MORE players in Free Roam, actual hunting of animals, mini-games (Liar's Dice, Poker, among other new games?) I CANNOT WAIT!

Why does everybody on twitter thinks this is red Dead redemption 2 instead of red Dead 3 ?

Because as far as we know, this could very well be Red Dead Redemption 2 (which would ALSO be "Red Dead 3"). The 3rd Red Dead game could be a direct sequel to Red Dead Redemption called "Red Dead Redemption 2." It would be the 3rd title with the initials "RDR."

 

"Final Fantasy X-2" would be a similar example. I'm not saying it's going to be Red Dead Redemption 2. I'm just pointing out that "Red Dead Redemption 2" would be the same thing as "Read Dead 3" or "RDR3." Hope you don't think I'm being to critical of your criticism.

PS, I don't see Rockstar doing day 1 PC releases. I used to think they were working toward it, and they tried to get there with MP3, but I just don't see them doing it.

 

I see a release to current gen, then a "PSpro/Scorpio" release with some upgrades "free patch for Pro when you already own the game, reason to buy if you haven't already" style, and then a PC version with the highest graphics.

 

It just worked so well to basically do that same thing with old gen/current/pc with GTA V, I can't see them not doing it while the market works the way it does right now.

Very good estimate, IMO! This is in very close keeping with their actual track record since GTA4 was announced: average of 20 months between announcement and release (counting delays).

I wouldn't mind, I love racing games. I think 1/3 of my game collection is racing games, everything from Gran Turismo to Ridge Racer.

That picture is fake. Please don't post fakes just to trick people... It's clear existing RDR artwork was pasted in. I just manipulated the actual image in all ways possible in Photoshop and there's nothing there.

 

Doesn't confirm anything! Use Paint.Net or whatever and do it yourself. There's nothing.
