I dunno, there seems to be a lot of things mentioning both companies together, including them being Nintendo's brand agency. There is of course hope but mine's been a little bit diminished. Who knows? I'll definitely be here come 12 PM EST. I guess it is difficult to guess with a company that does a lot of things for a lot of other companies, but I find that relationship a bit close, and they'd obviously know about a cover for a gaming magazine from one of the products they help advertise.

Whenever the next info eventually shows up, we'll get a true sense of Rockstar's intentions, if they equally hype up an RDR online mode with the RDR2 story.

 

That would, of course, be bad - I don't think the old west setting is anywhere near suited for online emphasis, compared to GTA online. But shareholders like getting more sales and more profit for less effort, and creating, writing, and producing a great story is a lot of effort. So, we'll see.

Game Informer has been teasing their March cover reveal on Twitter today, which is scheduled to be revealed tomorrow:

"While the cover is a mystery, some people have noted that it could be Red Dead Redemption 2 due to Rockstar Games following Game Informer on Twitter recently. Also Take-Two’s investor call is tomorrow, and after the cover reveal. So it’s very likely that it will be Red Dead Redemption 2."

I personally don't expect it to be in March issue, as this one is most likely reserved for Nintendo's Switch. I'm looking forward to April's, and if it didn't happen, then no way it won't be May's. Take2 won't conclude their 2017 in May's conference without a release date set in stone.

Won't they though? I mean as long as they do release some more information by then, they will make some profit off of it even without a release date. Would probably look bad on their lineup but maybe 2K will announce stuff soon too?

By May, RDR2 will be 5-6 months away from release. As far as I remember, R*'s history shows that the exact release date would be already known when a game is that close to release.

 

The most probable release month for RDR2 is October. Then a month later (or 3 weeks) R* will launch RDR Online. According to this, we have 2 perfect dates for our release (because it looks badass): 10/10/2017 and 10/17/2017.

It looks generic as hell and the writing seems awful so far. And the animations are equally terrible. BioWare hasnt been good since 2010 honestly. They seem to be focused on shoving as many political messages in their games instead of making them good anymore. SAD!

That's true, it's always very fun to speculate and discuss rumours and stuff. Even during the V days with almost 100 times the people we have here right now it was fun despite it being a bit fast paced and spammy.

i do hope we get something today. we have been patient hopefully we will be rewarded.and even if nothing comes out of today i wont be sad because i know when rdr2 does come out it will be worth the wait. i remember feeling the same for gta 5. it sucked having to wait for new info but it was well worth the wait for me.

Yeah. I mean remember the GTA V boxart cover reveal via that massive mural in NYC? Here we are waiting for GI to post something on their website, but back then we were constantly refreshing the topic in the V section all day waiting for panels to be drawn on then painted on and trying to get people to go out there to take photos of it! I love the pre-release period. A delay would really put a dampener on our spirits, but the game is still coming.
