Can you all imagine what hype there will be once R* announces the date for the official trailer #2

There will be a lot of hype because this "teaser" is really just a glimpse of what to expect from RDR2.

I can't wait to see more, that's for sure!

do you guys remember when the whole "Albert De Santa" leak happened in GTA V...do we know how many months that was after the first GTA V trailer

 

i expect to start seeing leaks soon for RDR 2

Grounded? Lol, RDR is great but you seem like those people who say GTA San Andreas is better than V.

 

Story wise, okay, but at everything else it falls short simply because of later tech and because R* is known to improve their games.

 

With all the money they got from GTA V and the power of current gen, the possibilities of making a way better open world, with way better wild life and npcs are bigger. That's why I'm sure this game is gonna blow RDR in every aspect aside from the story.

It is tbh, i played it recently and it still holds up very well. The physics and gunplay is beaten by very few open world games if any, the atmosphere of the game is the same case and the characters and story is still amazing.

 

I'm sure Rockstar is up to the challenge but it will be very difficult game to top generally speaking. This isn't a Vice City or San Andreas case where the controls and gunplay and clearly very poor compared to todays standards considering Red Dead excelled more in that department than GTA 5 did.

I honestly already like the guy talking in the reveal trailer of RDR2 better than Marston.

Even though it's pretty unlikely he's going to be the protagonist.

I won't mind if the Story isn't going to be as good as RDR's. I actually kinda quit during RDR's story while being in the middle of it. I think I got distracted.. But many months later, I wanted to end the story, lol. Loved it all the way. Not saying I expect a crap story for RDR2. I am expecting a nice story.

I loved Redemption mostly for its online multiplayer. I truly had a blast with my friends! Searching for these legendary animals was always a blast. I only wish that the Undead Nightmare had online free mode. Would've been a blast killing zombies with my friends in free mode rather than in a restricted game mode.

Rockstar doesn't do big names anymore. Troy is a big name. Don't believe it's the voice actor who does Dutch either. This is a new face, maybe this character has ties to some other outlaws. That's something I would believe since the Midwest had several outlaw gangs at that time.

Off topic. But guys, RDR (Xbox at least) still has multiplayer and still works from what I remember back in 2011.

 

I was just on it this past Wednesday and it went beautifully. Did a few gang hideouts with some randoms, rode the countryside with a few guys and joined a few posses. It's still live for those saying it's now screwed up or whatever. It's running flawlessly.

Yo, so i just found an amazing theory about Red Dead 2

 

"OK hear me out , I know what you're thinking the wild west ended in 1916 it can't be Jack Marston speaking, rdr2 looks like its set in 1880's/90's. True! , but what 'if' Red Dead Redemption 2 is narrated by an old Jack Marston ' telling us about the rise and fall of his Father John Marston's former gang before the events of rdr1? , I may have evidence that might back this up' In GTA V in franklin's house on a book shelf is a book called 'Red Dead' written by J. Marston , now this might be a simple Easter egg or a nod to the red dead series but what if its a bigger hint to rdr2!? ... What if Jack went on to be a famous author?

I was so glad to find out that RDR is backwards compatible on the Xbox One. Installed it today, but will play it in 3 weeks. Why? Because then I am home for a full week recovering from an operation. And what's better than to spend that time on playing RDR?
