Timeframe for RDRevolver was the 1880s, and Red at the time was a pre/early teen that became a young adult.

 

Age him another 20 years and you're in the mid 1900s. The events of Redemption took place in 1911.

I am very eager and anticipatory to view the full extent of the Red Dead Redemption: 2 footage tomorrow morning.

 

It is sure to be picturesque and unprecedented in the realms of geography, verticality, scope, graphical fidelity, depth of field, draw distance, tesselation, volumetric lighting, and microcosmic detailing, the latter of which is always just one cornerstone of astonishment, with a Rockstar creation.

 

My postulation is such that Red Dead Redemption: 2's debut trailer will tap into the truest and rawest epitome of Current-Gen and realism, as vested by Rockstar's own lexicon of those words. This trailer, and ultimately the finalized iteration of this game, will serve as a benchmark of transcendence, in that it will definitely be a good determinant of, with all due respect to the nature of this thread, the power that Grand Theft Auto: VI will be able to churn out within a few years time.

 

Also pertaining to the Red Dead Redemption: 2 trailer, I really do think that Rockstar is going to seamlessly blow away Red Dead and Grand Theft Auto fans collectively, from the character renderings of John Marston and company to the R.A.G.E. engine, right down to the intricacies of an equestrian's leg structure, tail and the glistening ends of spurs.

 

It really is exciting for everybody because this will be the first time within three years, that we will be able to gauge just how the structure of a Rockstar game has matured and will operate on Current-Gen platforms. The absence of the previously encountered limitations and other impediments will really enable Rockstar to drive and enhance the immersive experience that many have been so yearning to reach.

 

Saddle up and brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen.

 

Rockstar North's arsenal is still very much locked and loaded, much like the 6-shooter revolver that you will brandish within your very own arsenal, as you trek through Rockstar's revitalized portal of the Wild Wild West.

 

This new perspective and true transition of Rockstar's gaming framework into the altruistically and unutterably spellbinding world of true Next-Gen drive, power and torque has been so sought after.

 

It really has, and definitely by myself. In principle and execution, Rockstar had intended for the framework of Grand Theft Auto: V to be Next-Gen. Such as with the Emergency Lighting System. The aura of the Last-Gen iteration of the game was just that, but the spark of the accelerant had to be scaled accordingly. It was a near-miss. Current-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V then proceeded to persevere in the pursuit of a near Next-Gen experience and prominently facilitate more spark to that accelerant. Vehicle interiors were enriched, crisp vegetation populated select quadrants of barren landscape

Not anymore. RDR2 is developed by Rockstar Studios, whereas RDR1 was developed by San Diego.

Rockstar Studios is a term used for the collaborative efforts of the various development studios. Most, if not all, participate in the creation of the games (sometimes one gets assigned to do a port job for a title from another studio).

 

They still have a lead studio on the project.

Iirc, NYC is where the Publishing Group is, not an actual developer studio.

 

It's like Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. One is the developer studio, the other is the publisher.

It will be absolutely crazy if the Red Dead or Red Dead Redemption franchise and spin-off Undead Nightmare focused only on John Marston and his family and ancestors that will not only mirror Metal Gear (which influenced the franchise on how it is titled;"Solid"?) but will also be the first for Rockstar Games.

Hello, it is nice to see you, too, and I am glad that you recognized me.

 

I altered my alias a few months prior to reflect my excitement and anticipation for hopefully another one of Rockstar's forthcoming projects within the next few years.

 

I do not frequent GTAForums as much as I previously did, but I will log in occasionally to peruse the 'GTA Next' section.

 

I am very excited as for what the Red Dead Redemption: 2 trailer will bring tomorrow, so I just poured out all of that excitement, very sufficiently I might add.

 

I look forward to seeing you within this thread after the trailer is launched tomorrow at 11:00 AM.

We did some amazing things off of the RDR trailers in 09, pin pointed towns on the map crazy accurately. I look forward to doing the same this time around.

People seem convinced that this will be a prequel and we will play as part of Dutch's gang with many saying that we will be playing as John once again. Is this not a bit too predictable to be actually exciting? I really hope we don't play as John. Before I would've said not a chance but lately my faith in Rockstar had begun to wain.

Agreed, it will show a lack of creativity on R* part if it's a direct prequel.

 

Fingers crossed it's not & we get a high-quality narrative that is new & original.

If we are playing as John Marston again, i think the multiple-protagonist-system will perfect fit in some way and obviously they would have learn more from GTA V and improve on the system.

If you saw my above comment and the logo link, i think the franchise is mirroring the Metal Gear franchise even though both are not in same genre or are competitors- Assassins Creed is the main competitor of Red Dead Redemption (even though the latter is bigger in terms of copies sold).

That won't be enough. We must analyze every pixel of every frame, just to make a cohesive sentence. Then we must analyze each and every analysis with a lot of salt. Maybe then, we'll know what brand of boots Marston will be wearing in this game.
