Major Bug in Bikers DLC

There's a huge bug that was introduced in this update, and I'm not talking about that one hornet that landed on my car this morning, I'm talking about the fact that you lose all your Engine EMS upgrades if you drive your car out of the garage manually.

 

Now, this upgrade loss doesn't affect your car if it's from a medium or small car garage or if you order your car via mechanic or assistant, it affects you if you go to your 10 car garage and drive your car out personally. I have no knlowedge if this affects clubhouse bikes as of yet. This also doesn't affect Turbo or Transmission upgrades.

 

You can solve this by either heading to LSC and leaving it or by buying the upgrade again, but unfortunately, the first one doesn't work all the time and may require multiple tries.

 

I can't believe that such a huge bug snuck under the devs's noses yet again, all they could've done to prevent this was playtest basic features already implemented in the game before releasing the update, yet here we are stuck with a tumor.

I heard there was a money glitch on the clubhouse garage management thing. And then R* removed the feature, I don't know how, and that bug appeared, right?

Anyway I didn't take out my vehicles manually from my garages. Just clubhouse tho... since the DLC came out.

You lose them the moment you drive them out, so it affects you in races and missions and all that jazz if you've driven your car out of your garage by yourself in the first place and continued using them.

I've driven a few cars out & in of 10-car garages post-update, including my RE-7B, ETR1, Osiris, Insurgent, Bati 801, & Brioso. None have been affected. (PS4)

Just checked, engine upgrades are still here (PC).

 

Edit: You still have the upgrades but they, like the reddit post stated, do not work anymore.

Oh man... All my new bikes... Got driven out of clubhouse... Luckily no car manually out of garage, but that was just luck..

This bugl need to be fixed asap... So I haven't really experienced the true speed of the bikes yet... Not good....

I've only driven my bikes out of the clubhouse since the update; I went to have a look at my Hakuchou Drag, and the highest engine upgrade was still there, but I selected to buy the first level upgrade and then revert back to level four just in case. It didn't actually re-charge me when I applied the level four upgrade again.

 

I tested it out on the highway, and while it could be a placebo effect, the bike did seem a bit faster after I reapplied the upgrade. I raced with it earlier after having driven it out of the garage, and got absolutely demolished in every race--despite the fact that it is supposed to be the new bike to own and fastest. I didn't make blaring mistakes either; the regular Akuma and Bati were able to pass me with ease. Not sure if that is related to the track, bad luck, or this issue, but it did seem quite unusual.

 

Edit: These issues are why we need the Benz back. Sigh.

Not necessarily, just entering and leaving works most of the time, but not all.

Oh man this is a tremendous ball ache, I drive pretty much all my vehicles on a regular basis. The worst part is not knowing which vehicles have been affected.

Bug isn't permanent and only occurs when exiting a 10 cars garage/property with that vehicle. Requesting it via mechanic/office or MC abilities seems to fix it. Bug does not occur in races or at the start of heists. Switching sessions also works.

Wondered why my bikes all had standard horns all the sudden. Oh great!!

 

My mechanic kept saying "I'm otherwise occupied" when I requested a vehicle. Happened 15 minutes ago. Is this related?

Im hoping Rockstar pulls an early GTAO move and releases a patch that fixes the clusterf*ck of issues with Bikers. Lately we only get updates WITH updates,rather than necessary patches inbetween.

I have to scroll though the engine upgrade options (not purchase) and that will restore it back. They need to fix this fast.

does it affect ALL cars that you re owning prior to the update , or just those that you tuned after this DLC ?

BTW : something similar happened to me yesterday , it was more visible than Engine upgrades : the arch extensions on my Street blazer have disappeared , so I had to buy them again ... i m on PC

also , not very related to this but , why doesn´t my iFruit app show motorcycles ? does someone else have the problem ?

Not a bug, it was an intentional move. They disabled the blue circle because people found a dupe glitch and Rockstar decided to use a bandaid solution instead of, y'know, actually fixing the bug. Edited October 10, 2016 by DangerZ0neX

R* has removed the re-organize bike feature for the time being as it was used for a money glitch.

So it's not a bug, not a glitch, not a ''ohnoes theyz be hackingz and I dindunuffin'' ITS INTENTIONAL.

Pretty sure it got removed, because people like me put cars in the clubhouse lol. Also as others have said a money glitch that occurred from it.

Huh. Now I thought i'd bought Bulletproof tires for my Seven-70, but it's been a long time since I used it I thought maybe i'd forgotten to do that.

 

Not something i'd likely forget, but it could happen.

 

Confirmed on XB1: Drove my Tropos out, Engine upgrade was purchased but not working.

Go back to your gun safe and redo it. That should fix it

 

Also the winning animations from races are mostly not working anymore. I've tried 6-7 different ones.

Can also confirm that re-buying the engine upgrade, returning the vehicle to said garage then taking it out again removed the upgrade.
