My next question: Do businesses continue to produce while you do races or other missions? Or do they only produce while you are actually in a public session?

I have tested it with a regular contact mission and it didn't produce anything while. Some have said that it works during heists but i haven't tested it.

I have made a neat little discovery.

If you buy supplies and have a shipment of supplies pending for delivery and quit the MC and start doing CEO stuff or whatever, the shipment will not reach the warehouse untill you log in to your MC again. This means that if you buy supplies for 15.000, which is the least amount I can buy in my Meth Lab, I can fill up my supply storage 100% for that amount. I just quit before I get the supplies, and return when my warehouse has used its supplies/most of its supplies. I will then get the supplies I bought for 15.000, and since bought supplies always maxes out the storage, I can fill up my warehouse for only that amount.

English isn't my native language, and it was a bit difficult to explain. I hope you get it :) .

Normally I don't buy supplies, but sometimes I use that little "trick" though.

Do you know how long it will take for the supplies to arrive? It would be super usefull if i would be able to do this at both my businesses before starting up ceo.

Had another coke sale. Got the "Boats to 5 checkpoints + speed bonus". Dinghies were located by the lighthouse. I was lucky to have my yacht at the last delivery spot (north of the northernmost convenience store) so getting back to the lighthouse was easy. I'm bad at driving botes, though. Kept bouncing off the waves and losing a little bit of the speed bonus.

Edit: Still waiting for my counterfeit cash place to fill up while un upgraded to later calculate the value increase per upgrade. Takes time :(

Do more than one of the upgrades increase value? I know that a fully upgraded warehouse sells for 40% more than a completely un upgraded one.

Only a few minutes. Perhaps you can make it if your businesses aren't too far from each other.

I saw someone selling today from LS to Blain in postop vans. It had the exact same dropoff points as I have had when selling from Paletobay to Blain.

He also drove trashmasters and baggers and my impression is that selling from LS to Blain County requires more time cause the dropoff points are more scattered around the map(more miles apart) then delivering in the city.

However selling in Blain seems to be more safe cause there is less activity offcourse.

Personally im gonna move from Paletobay to Sandy Shores for the shorter sale time. Postop vans can now be done with 2 people instead of 3 when fully stocked. Shaved 2-3mins off per van. Not to mention im more central for supply missions.(most seem to be around LS)

Short story: I dont see any benefit from owning anything in Paletobay. Either go Sandy Shores or LS.

Weird. Maybe i will test it again. Maybe something has changed but the first time i tried it it definitely didn't produce while i was in the contact mission.

It sucks if all deliveries from Paleto Bay is really time consuming because otherwise Paleto Bay just seems ideal with all businesses incredibly close nomatter which ones you choose to own.

Agreed. I reckon basing your businesses in the Sandy Shores area is the best option, unless you're set on going all-in keeping 5 running at all times, then the close proximity of the LS businesses might payoff. But for a more modest one or two business operation, I recommended SS and selling to the city.

While I'm waiting for the counterfeit to actually fill up (feels so slow when not upgraded. Also time constraints.) I can report that buying the security upgrade for the coke lockup adds an additional 250 to your daily salary and utility cost. We need all the numbers, people.

Yep I have to agree. For exemple, the meth lab in senora desert, is probably the closest ''good business'' to the city. So you still have the 1.5X multiplier for the price that you are selling it and you are still able to the the Postop vans with 2 players. You can still have sh*tty delivery point in stilt houses on the west coast, but if you look at your map as soon as you get in the truck and plan your delievery route, you should be fine.

btw the OP havent been change for a while. It didnt even mention the difference in Supplies from a mission with a vehicle vs a mission with a package

I found that, on Forgery business, you can NOT sell the full product in Los Santos alone if you own the Forgery at Harmoney (near Sandy Shores).

The timer to sell them is 30mins, and it gives you 3 Trashmasters, each with 5 packages, which you need to distribute across LS. It takes, from Forgery to the first 5 packages, around 9 minutes. To go back to Forgery, by bike, it takes around 3,5-4 minutes. It means, it takes around 13 minutes to complete each sale and back to pickup another Truck. To do it 2 times, considering at first time you are already at Forgery, you'll need around 22 minutes. Plus, let's say, at minimum, 3 minutes to go back, you'll have only 5 minutes left to take the last Truck to LS, and sell the last packages, which isn't enough time.

ANYWAY, if you sell in LS, alone, "2 bars" of the production -packages- (which for me, was worth 45k), you can do it within 30 minutes.

I'm trying to discover at what point of production, it start to give you 3 Trucks to do the job instead of 2.

What kind of selling setup you get is completely random. I sold off 5 full businesses solo from Sandy to LS yesterday, and I got the 3X Trashmaster setup when selling the cocaine. This was the only sale I wasn't able to complete alone; you lose a lot of time trying to coax those slow pieces of trash up the hills towards LS. Even with expert driving, no crashes, and taking the Hydra back to the remaining Trashmasters, in the end I still had 2 more bags of coke to drop off when the time ran out. About 3 more minutes would've cut it. In the end I got paid about $360K for the sale, as opposed to $420K if I had managed to complete it. Not a big loss, considering I stole all my supplies - but it messed up my otherwise stellar sale success rate percentage for the coke business!

All the other sales I was able to complete without problem (from Sandy to LS). Three Dingys from the LS marina to drop-offs up the west coast, I finished with 11 minutes to spare. Four Western Baggers with counterfeit cash to be driven into four different trucks around south LS - which I initially thought would be sweaty doing alone - I finished with about 6 minutes to spare, flying the Hydra back to Sandy after each delivery. Three Dodo planes from the Grapeseed shore to over-water checkpoints around south LS - I was a bit worried there for a while, but finished with 3 minutes to spare by piloting each Dodo back to the marina after deliveries and taking the Hydra back up to Grapeseed. But on that one there is no room for mistakes if you solo... And when I sold a full shipment of weed I just had to drive one truck down to Vespucci Beach, which was a breeze to complete with well over 10 minutes to spare even though I was stoned the whole damn time thanks to the buyer who insisted on tagging along and toking his brains out. That was a nice, unexpected touch.

Those are the ways to deliver I have experienced so far. I was wondering if it works similar to the CEO work when you arrange a sale of a complete warehouse and then quit the session, which sets you back just a few crates. If you solo and you get the Trashmaster biker delivery, assuming you just lose a pittance of your stock, it would be worth quitting and hoping for a better method of delivery the second time. Has anyone tried?

^ You lose about 10% of your stock or so if you switch sessions. Worked fo rme.

And heck, this may not be reliable, but I accidentally destroyed one of my Baggers when doing the sale so I rage quit to another session an only lost 10% of the product. Maybe this doesn't always work, but I was ready to lose 25% of my product at the time.

Bonnie_MacFarlane

I played this weekend several hours with my son and while playing alone it looks like it's more profitable to do ceo crates and buying the supplies than spending the time on stealing the supplies. Can anyone confirm this?

I managed to complete my coke sale from Alamo sea delivering it with three Trashmasters in LS. It was very tight, though. Lucky none of the drop off points were on the very bottom of the map.

So it is possible! It depends on the drop-off points though, they are also random. Mine were very far apart on occasion. It's a gamble though; like I said I had two drop-offs left when the time ran out, but I couldn't have driven much better than I did. What killed me was how much I actually had to drive around after I got to the city. It's probably better to quit if you get the Trashmaster delivery method solo, assuming you don't take more than a 10% hit on your inventory.

I say go for it no matter what. If you can't make it you'll still get paid for the ones you delivered, and you don't loose 10% and don't waste time quitting and trying again. Always take the hardest sale option cause you'll have to fail really, really bad for it not to pay better than the other option.

Does the unsold portion of your stock return to you if you run out of time on a sales run?

The 2-3 times i failed to deliver everything i only got paid for what i delivered and the rest was gone.

What i would like to know, however, is if i were to put a sticky bomb on the 3rd postal vehicle/trashmaster when picking up the second one and then when it was clear that i couldn't make it, blow it up what would then happen? Would some from the blown up truck be returned to my warehouse. I might just try that out later today. Unless someone can confirm that it does absolutely nothing.

Today my weed farm used 8 supplies to get full stock while it needed 9 two days ago orso. Think there might def be something going on the longer you have it or how more you sold/produced the less supplies you need.

Also I have not gotten a different sell mission for the weed, everytime at full stock I get the duffelbags with 1 dropoff point. Fly a buzzard and in 2mins done deal.

So far i have done meth from blaine to LS 2 times. Both times 4 baggers and plenty time to spare. I have done counterfeit cash from vespucci. 2 times long and one time short but every times 15 packages in 3 trucks and i almost never make it. As soon as i get enough money to get a complete coke lab up and running i'm selling the one in vespucci.

I'm still on PS3 but next year i'll hopefully be getting a PS4. So question is where can i get a map of the clubhouse locations that I can zoom in and get better locations of the spots? Might as well check out the spots on the PS3 version and get an idea of where I want to buy. For when I do get my PS4. I'll be wanting something North of the map out of the city. Bored with the city for 1 and 2 i'd rather have something that has 10 slots north of the map for a nice change of scenery. Maybe a gas station or something like that.

Checking out the locations on PS3 would actually give me something to do in free roam. That's for when i'm not being screwed with from all the kids and their mod programs. All year since no new content for PS3 basically and it's gotten old.

When you say 10 slots north of the map are you talking about a garage that has room for 10 cars? Because that doesn't exist. Only in LS are there 10 car garages. The only option is clubhouses but that is only 10 spots for motorcycles.

10 Slot's for Motorcycle's works. Also the map on 1st page doesn't let you zoom in well. I already saved it and tried.

Nevermind I just retried to zoom in on it and I can get it to kinda work. But if anyone has another map that shows the street's better hit me up with it.

Hi guys, I've made a hi-res map with all the clubs & businesses if you are interested

https://1drv.ms/i/s!AgsZvleRWp2foahq4enESdgycwYbdw

P.s. Its 2000x3000 & 10.7mb large.

______

I've yet to play the dlc & I got a couple of questions...

1) once you purchase a business, do you need the club to manage said business like the offices?

2) which one is better, owning a business up north & delivering to the city? Or vice versa? Obviously the former is cheaper to set up.

Thanks

My pleasure 😊

Like the original map there is a mixup with some locations. The one in Terminal is a meth lab instead of a counterfeit cash. The counterfeit cash location in gran senora desert is actually a meth lab. I'm pretty sure that meth labs and counterfeit cash locations has been mixed up. Except for the counterfeit it vespucci. That one is correct.

Yea I used the map from CaliMeetsWagon's post as a guideline, since I don't have access to Xbox at the moment.

I knew about the Vespucci mix up, but not the other two. Thanks for pointing them out, I'll update the map when I get a chance :)
