I hope they fix this. I haven't touched my Nightblade in weeks.

Been riding the Sanctus and Shotaro exclusively.

Sanctus was moved to slot 1, no bonus. Kept it there since I bought it and still it has yet to register as my favorite.

Really, I want the Shotaro as my "fav" perks of looking awesome, being fast, and big insurance bill instead of the pathetic insurance bill the Nightblade gives players

I have heard from several people about problems switching to other bikes. Basically everyone who had a certain bike as his favourite bike for a while needed to use the next bike quite a lot longer before it switched. Fortunately it does switch eventually. Unfortunately there is no official statement about what contributes how much to a bike being chosen as the favourite. Time used and/or distance traveled is definitely a factor, but either it does not work as intended or there are more unknown factors at work. It could just be that there is some kind of grace period for your current favourite bike forcing you to use the new bike for x% longer, it could be that the system counts how often you have called that bike or used it for MC work, but without word from R* one can only speculate and use the intended favourite bike for as long as it might take. So far it did work for everybody I know, even if it took longer than expected.

Incidentally, when a favorite bike is determined, every model of that bike that you own is favorited. I've got multiple Hakuchou Drags, and I get the blurb about it being a favorite regardless of which one I choose.

My favorite bike at this moment is the Zombie Chopper, but the Streetfighter gives it competition.

 

Also, what is it with guys telling lies in this thread? 3 different alleged ways of changing you're favorite bike status I've counted so far in this topic. If you don't know, don't pretend you do.

 

To make it clear, I don't know myself since I haven't tried it out yet, but atleast I'm certain that if 2 men tell me they're Jesus, one of them must be wrong.

I changed mine to the Nightblade after having the Zombie Chopper for a while. Now I'm trying the wolfsbane and I've been driving it exclusively for days now. Still the nightblade as my favourite.

 

I don't think its bugged, but I'm wondering if its length driven or time spent on it.

I went on an alt account I haven't used since before the biker update and had no favorite bike set.

 

purchased the chopper @ drove it 1 block and it became my "favorite."

 

afterwards I rode my daemon for a few blocks and it became my "favorite."

 

had to ride my chopper for twice as long to get it back to my "favorite."

 

seems to be working as intended on my alt. too bad it's not on my main.

 

btw: clubhouse, MC work, garage slot ect. have nothing to do with it.

wasn't CEO/Pres. when testing. maybe it counts miles you ride in FR while not "working?"

I just taped my controller to make me drive around in a circle for 4 hours on my shotaro last night and somehow my drag I used for maybe 2 hours total is still my favorite lol. This is even after I used nothing but the shotaro since it was released.

 

It's just great having a very useful bonus like this in the game that the majority of us can't even enjoy because these assholes won't fix their game.

I basically 100% proved the other night it has 0 to do with time spent riding the bike. There's a lot of variables to consider. It works for some people but I've never seen them explain their setup outside of ohh I used the bike and it switched. We don't know how many bikes or cars total they have? Which garage they have the bike in? Do they own a Mc? How many properties total? Which Mc club house do they have the bike in? Do they have multiple copies of the bike?

 

There's a bunch of different things that could potentially effect this somehow. Maybe the coding is broken and doesn't work if you own a ton of vehicles or maybe too many properties. It's hard to say with such little details from the people that claim it does work.

 

If we could get details from the people it works for and compare to the people it doesn't work for we may be able to figure something out.

 

Has anyone attempted to round up information to compare before or has this strictly been a few people blabbering off stuff with 0 details behind it?

That is the official R* response to asking why my favorite bike wasn't changing. First 2 weeks I rode the hell out of the Zombie Chopper [favorite that entire time], when the Sanctus came out it hadn't switched after a week of only riding the Sanctus. It did eventually change after 16 hours of my ass being in the seat, the amount of time I spent on the Zombie in the 2 weeks before the Sanctus was released. It is working, it's just a really f*cking annoying system and it'd probably take me over a month if I ever wanted to change favorites again since I've got over 40 hours logged on it now.

Driving exclusive the shataro since month. It just does not change from a bike I sold 4 weeks after bikers was released

Is there any current glitch to get creator props into freeroam? I guess the last thing I can try is just AFK ride my Avarus non-stop overnight and see if that makes a difference, but I'd have to build a wall of death or something to ensure I don't get knocked off at any point.
