Are you able to screenshot your stats screen for me please?

Also, do you mean she didn't own a clubhouse or another motorcycle?  Ultimately it doesn't matter, as you don't have to own either. The game just goes by what bike you have used (sat on) the most.

She has a couple bikes but she rides the Bati the most I just thought if i don't have an MC I shouldn't get the bonus, never mind then at least it works for her...

I was happy to take a screenshot but the website is f*cked up it shows me a blank profile for some reason, everything on 0 as if I just bought the game or just got banned lol.. I can take a screenshot from within the game in a bit tho if that helps. Here's the blank mess in any case:

EDIT: Here you go

For context, I rode only the Hak Drag for about 2 weeks when it came out, the shotaro more than that, the FCR1000 custom more than that, and the Bati 801 WAY, WAY, WAAAAAAAAY more than any other vehicle in the game. Broken piece of sh*t bonus...

Interesting stats. I can see you've ridden motorcycles a ton! Or the Bati.

During this time you have ridden the Bati, have you then rode different bikes between? Either ones found on the street, ones during sourcing missions, ones during MC sale missions and any other bike / oppressor you may own?

I'm trying to determine if by riding other bikes between, it resets trying to get your desired bike to be the favourite.  Just this week when I got the Deathbike to be my new favourite, I avoided all other bikes, even backing out of sell or resupply missions which would involve me using another bike.  I maintained this for 7x solid days or 168 hours of using nothing but the Deathbike. Other vehicles are fine but all other motorcycles and Oppressors are definite no no's.

First experiment:

Get yourself into an invite only session, head to the airport, and use bands to put your bike in reverse circles (not forward) and do this for about an hour and report back.

The Bati is roughly half the time of all other bikes combined.

I've been keeping an eye on this thread for quite a while and have tried the approach of avoiding any other bike (or even CAR) for a couple of months.

I've also tried the method of going to sleep while GTA was running and my character riding my bike with W (pc master race sadly, no rubber bands for me) pressed all night inside the circle of that eagle statue for about 3-4 days in a row around the same time.

I will try reversing for an hour or more and report back but I doubt it will work.

Let me get this straight, you actually finally got the deathbike to be your fav with the bonus working? -Edit: I just read your post about it, neat! Gratz!

Perhaps I should try some more to AFK on it at night, could you detail where did you do circles? And was it in reverse? Or did you just sat on it all night?

The reverse thing was mainly a test to see if it breaks whatever bug you are having.  It's a long shot but worth a try.

With my latest switch to the Deathbike, I basically left my Xbox running every night for about a week.  I did forward-circles at the airport in a solo session.  I wrapped a band around my accelerator trigger button (not too tight, just enough so my bike wouldn't go too fast as this can send you off course and crash) and a band around the direction stick to ensure I made tight circles.

I left this over night and checked each morning to see if it worked.  Also, during the day, I would use nothing but the Deathbike (when I wasn't at work lol) and also did various missions and activities in which I could use my Deathbike.

It finally worked after roughly 168 hours of solid use.  I certainly had used the MKII a lot, and it made sense because I used it for all my grinding.

It's easy to underestimate how much you have used your previous bike.  Although I do suspect yours may be bugged in some way, I'm confident the bug can be broken, and it may just take a lot of AFK circling and constant usage.

Just ensure you do not touch any other type of bike under any circumstances lol!

Please report back on how you get on matey!

Sorry to bring this thread up again but this really is the most dumb and stupid stat in the entire f*cking game. So while spending nights spinning AFK to change you're bike is only mildly annoying and a understandable  evil in a rockstar game (I'm sure we've all done AFK for nightclub goods or research imaginei).

What really pisses me off is that bunker sale mission where is spawns you on a bike at the end to reset you're hard work. Also no pac standard heist either while doing it? I seriously gotta tell my friends I cant help you sell because I'm trying to change my favourite bike? Also can do pac standard but only if one of you steals 2 lectros and rides me on the back of one on the finale?! In fact no I just ain't risking it. Screw you rockstar.

You can use other bikes. Just dont ride your favourite bike.

Remember that counts the time you ride them.

Huh? No offence but I'm one of these people that actually reads a thread before I post. And there are enough people that have said it resets if you use another bike. In fact my favourite bike would already be my favourite if that wasn't true. I haven't used my oppressor for over a year. I had something like 1.5 days riding motorcycles at that time. I'm now on 10 days and only used the mk2 since it came out. Why isn't it my favourite?

Because it resets everytime I get on another type of bike that's why.

I did more than 600 bunker missions and in the end I played the UFO mission.
I drank more than 500 Macbeths and in the end I got the UFO tattoo.
I spent more than 78 real hours driving the Oppressor and it was finally my favorite.

TezFun made it clear, it's the time you spend driving the bike. It doesnt reset nothing if you drive another bike. You only are adding time for that bike. It's just a matter of time.

So you are telling me that out of the 1.5 days riding time I had a year ago with the oppressor mk1 (was first and only bike I brought), I've now done 8.5 days on the mk2 since then (as I'm now on 10 days riding) and it isn't my favourite yet because I haven't spent enough time on it?  That doesn't make sense. I've done 5x more time on the mk2.

I see what tezfun said there are 4 stats. Current/favourite by name/time. That could easily mean the current time goes up and must reach the level of the favourite for it to switch over. I think when you get on another bike current bike time goes back to zero and you start over. I've literally used the mk2 5x more and it hasn't changed so something isn't right with that.

I even blew up the mk1 and left it on mors to remind us not to use it. I think what's been happening is the mk2 gets destroyed and my son tends to jump on the rat bike to escape someone before he rings mors for the mk2 while I just ring mors. So we never get a extended block of using just the mk2. It really is the only explanation.

What @Mdc said is correct, if you want to have a specific bike as your favorite bike, you would have to spend more time on it than your favorite bike.

You also must not use any other bike than that specific bike.

There are only 4 stats for this "favorite bike" feature.

Current bike model/type

Time spent on current bike

Favorite bike model/type

Time spent on favorite bike

If you are using Mk2 then that becomes your current bike and it start tracking the time you spend on it, but if you use any other bike, the first 2 stats reset to 0

So all the time you spent on Mk2 trying to have it as your favorite bike is lost and forgotten.

Both Oppressors shouldn't even count as bikes and should be exempt from this bonus in the first place tbh.

I knew it! Thanks man. So real question remaining is what counts as riding a bike? Just free roam or in heists as well?

I'm assuming (hoping) the lectro in pac won't reset it nor a delivery bagger as not PV. But what about a PV bike in pac to jump on roof to get helicopter? Not risking it mind. I should only have about 6 hours AFK to change it

Anything that's classified as your personal bike counts towards it, in heists or missions or freeroam.

Except bikes inside interiors like if you are in the process of arranging your garage or something.

Much appreciated.

Oh, does the time continue to accrue on the favourite once it is the favourite?

Eg. 10 hours on mk1 + 1 minute rat bike + 10 hours mk1.

Obviously the mk1 is still favourite but would it be 10 or 20 hours required to flip it to something else? @Fun 2

Yes, if you keep using the favorite bike, it will increase time spent on favorite stat.

If you were using the current bike that you want to become favorite and switched to the favorite one then that will also reset your current timer to zero.

You will have to stick to your current bike forever until it becomes favorite which is quite stupid to be honest.

So just to be totally clear if I manage to get mk2 to be my favourite, then immediately use my mk1 for 1 minute, then go back to my mk2.... The time spent on mk2 favourite is going to continue to increase and make it exponentially harder to change in future the more I use it? Unless I make it my favourite and then just don't use it anymore?..... Wow that's some stupid system if that's the case.

Yes, say you spent like 10 days riding your mk2 without using any other bike, if that's higher than the time you spent on your favorite, it becomes your new favorite bike.

All the time you spent riding that bike is registered as time spent on your favorite bike, so in other words, 10 days is the time you spent riding your favorite bike.

If you use it more often, then that time keep increasing and it won't stop.

At some point, time spent on your favorite may reach up to one month of riding it in online then it becomes extremely hard for any other bike to make it your new favorite bike.

Well I guess this clears up a lot of things...

Seriously whoever coded this sh*t is a dumbass, specially the part where the time needed to make a single bike be the favorite being reset because you rode any other personal bike.

f*cking amazing job R*!

christ why can't this just be changed manually? put a confirmation before you do so and make the player wait a full day (in game or irl) before they can change it again to avoid abuse

So would the CEO Sanchez not count because it isn't a personal bike?
