The "Favorite" status does not take into consideration your previous play time. It's based on what you have been on the most since the update launched.

 

I started up the game, bought the Rat Bike, and as soon as I hopped on it notified me letting me know I was now on my favorite bike

I drove the lectro for 20 mins and nothing

I did move several bikes beforehand for like 2 mins each though, including the bati

Scroll through where? I haven't seen it under interaction menu vehicles, and under motorcycle club I can see what is marked as my favorite when spawning a motorcycle but nothing to change it. The game has too many menus and submenus.

It's based on which one you ride the most. Just get the bike you want to make your favorite and ride it around as your primary vehicle and it'll happen eventually.

 

Edit: But there may or may not be another way to do it if you own an Motorcycle Club.

I think its set based on after the update, not before anyway. I've only had the nightblade a day yet it's Lola's favorite, she must have hours on the Hackachou from time trails and so on before that though.

This is just how you order different bikes, it has nothing to do with setting a favourite.

 

Mine is Gargoyle, I don't understand how some people reported theirs was Wolfsbane seeing how it only came out 2 days ago.

I think u have to stay on the bike longer than your favorite one,scrolling left right on mc bike selection does nothing.

Well I rode the Bati a LOT before this update....... yet the Nightblade is his favorite. lol

The favourite bike is determined by which bike you rode the longest since the update. It does not matter how long you have had your Batis etc. And it adapts quickly at the moment since the maximum amount of time you could have sat on one bike from the update up to now is not all that long. If your favourite bike is not the one that you want it to be, just ride around on your "true" favourite bike and the game will soon apply the bonus to that one. I find it quite nice that it does not count previous times, too, since it would have taken ages to switch from my good old Hakuchou to my good new Hakuchou Drag.

 

The interaction menu only lets you spawn a bike, and when you have your favourite bike selected it tells you so, but to my knowledge there is no option to manually override what the game has determined to be your favourite ride other than riding one bike until it becomes your favourite.

 

And no, the slot or garage the bike is parked in does not make a difference.

Sigh.

When you own a motorcycle club you get into that interaction menu (on pc it's M) go to motorcycle club> and there you got an option to spawn or despawn a bike, scroll trough the bike list and it will say which one is your favourite.

When you are in the MC part of your interaction menu and switch through your motorcycles the message at the bottom of the interaction menu changes when you have your favourite bike selected. For all other bikes the "help" message at the bottom only says that you can spawn this bike.
