EncryptedReality
I assume no SLOD support at this time, but cool stuff nonetheless

MrGTAmodsgerman
Why can i not convert the xml files to YTYP or YMAP? It says "unsupported file format", so i change name with the point in it and Meta Tools is going to crash
_CP_
.xml file must have an extension to be covnerted e.g. hw1_strm_0.ymap.xml. MrGTAmodsgerman

nkjellman
Well, now that we have this, plus the other tool that made this all possible, I better dig up my old EFLC Map Updates mod, along with my PC Quality Texture Update for TBOGT mod to help out with the Liberty City to IV conversion. The IPL's are different on the PC version of the EFLC map updates as they are overlayed on top the original LC map, and my map has the Xbox 360 XPL's converted to WPL's. No overlaying is going on with the console versions of the EFLC disk. Edited September 22, 2016 by nkjellman 609_uu
lunchxbles
There is a problem with this tool when converting map mods from GTAIV, for instance, I am converting an OPL/IDE that I have used to convert to .json before, and had good results. If I use this tool, using the "native" ymap option, then it gives me the correct positions, but instead of having the names be correct, it just says hash: (dec hash from gtaiv opl). This breaks the ymap because the game no longer detects the model because of the name. Then If I use the "mods" ymap option, then the positions are not correct, but the names are correct. I hope you can find a fix for this asap update: this is the result of broken positions ingame Edited September 25, 2016 by lunchxbles MrGTAmodsgerman, 609_uu and BS_BlackScout
