Another activity not on the list: Flying.

I love flying and V gave us some awesome aircraft from helis to Jumbos.

Under the Bridge, Knife Flights, Bombing runs and Packet Drops as well as free flight, I really hope to see these back in future GTA

Hopefully with a less overly exaggerated Turbulence Effect.

That's something about Flying in V that I severely disliked.

I miss having an array of mini games to choose from. I think I remember Houser saying that instead of quantity, they were going for quality. So they focussed on golf and tennis. I think he said we're going to focus of 5 or 6 games and make them really great. Anyone remember this?

I miss all the side stuff.

But this topic is about leisure activities? What about the crime missions too?

I miss or would like to see (again):

Trucking missions

Firefighting, Ambulance, Vigilante

Pimping

Hitman missions

Pool

Gambling: casino, poker and off track betting.

Gang wars

Racketeering

Property (buy, convert and sell at profit)

Burgalry missions

I suppose most of them arent activities as such but in a GTA thats what I want to be doing when im not doing the story

I didn't really Play much of the minigames in gtao, mostly cause getting someone to play tennis is pain and golf, forget it, maybe if they bring back vigilante in gta6 they can like give you a name of another player and you have to hunt them down inside gtao2 but in GtaVI single player its just a normal kill the bad guy affair

Criminal side activities such as this should be standard fodder in all GTA games by now, hence why I don't understand why V was greatly lacking in this area. I made sure the mods I use in V covered crime-related side missions to my perfection. In V I have drug-dealing, gang wars, car theft for cash, trucking jobs, mini-heists for small banks, and street robberies. I was even gonna get the home invasion mod, but right now it don't work properly.

Yeah I was let down by GTA V, I believe they should put more quality into their activities for sure, but only around 5, or 6 is a joke and very unlike Gta.

Sure they've to increase the quality of the activities but i think they should also increase the quantity of them. In gta 5, we've nothing to do after completing the story. Golf, tennis, movie theather with just 3 movies, races, hunting, darts, trhiathlon, etc.. could give us fun for couple of hours but just it. Because of the unsufficient ai, it'd be the similar scenario every time you playing.

For example amusement parks : If they create a really huge, in detail park with enable us to play lots of games/ experience all the rides would definetly give us lots of time to have fun. We can go there with our family, friends in both single and online mode, work there in different positions, manage there if possible.. deals, deathmatches, challenges, etc...these things would increase our play time and boost the sales for sure. It'd be odd to see no kids due to R*'s policy but they can design the npcs in different forms such as : teens, young couples, college students, etc...

Another activity caving : Think about a fully explorable cave system that you can go deep by just yourself or friends or with your crew... The dark, creepy atmosphere...getting prepared and buy all the necesssary stuff.... limited supplies that you have to survive with that or what you can find in there... the possibility of collapsing the rocks and try to find your way out...run out of the light and can't see anything.... maybe some fiction creatures that actually live in there.... deathmatches, challenges, survival games, missions, treasures, etc would give us hundreds of play time..

I almost picked "All of them", but I stopped and thought about it, and maybe more activities should be crime related.

Car Jacking (which we KNOW will be in, but still)

Chop Shop: Let's say you have some mechanics in the game, but your guy doesn't know them straight away, but you still want to profit from this car you stole. Well, you can always chop it up yourself. Using an interface similar to

you would steal a car, drive it to a garage you've either bought or "borrowed" from a local gang, and then use the internet to sell various parts of the car illicitly after physically removing them from the car. Not the most exciting way to make money, but neither was vice city pizza delivery, and vice city was still a great game.

Drug Cooking: This would use an interface similar to

but instead, you would be cooking up various drugs. Oh, and obviously the mini game wouldn't be using touch controls. You'd be cooking up things like meth, DMT, LSD, Ecstasy, synthetic marijuana, ketamine, and various designer drugs. And since it could be argued that the chemical steam coming off of the workbench where you're cooking could cause hallucinations, you could even have an actual motherly chibi anime character telling you how to cook the drugs. Or, maybe instead of a motherly chibi anime character, it would be Princess Robot Bubblegum. Wacky? Yes. Hallucinating can still be very dark in nature if you depict it properly, though, so I'm pretty sure rockstar could pull off making this particular game both wacky and surprisingly dark. Your lab would also have the potential to explode or be detected by police, so make sure it's well hidden if you set one up. Or you could always work for a gang or some criminal character. You'd be able to choose either working for yourself or working for a gang or a fellow criminal in exchange for a good spot. You could also piss off gangs or lone badass criminals if you sell in their territory.

Drug Smuggling and retail: This could work in conjunction with the drug cooking game, in that you'd have to smuggle drugs through checkpoints on occasion, avoid pissed off gangs and cops and lone criminals while finding a spot to sell your goods, and then after all of that also setting a good price so your customers don't seek out cheaper sources, though you could cook up meth good enough to get them hooked and desperate in the first place. Picking where you hide the drugs would play a big role here, and also making sure your enemies, if you have them, aren't too clued in to your movements.

Weapon Smuggling: You could also offer up your services as a weapon smuggler. Same thing really, hiding weapons on yourself or in places in your car, though obviously you wouldn't have to do this while not doing this activity in order to avoid annoyance. If you do get caught, though, make sure to use your weapons and not the ones you are smuggling, because if you use the ammo of the weapon you're smuggling, you might end up getting paid less.

Stolen Good Trafficking: Again, this would be similar to the other two smuggling games, but you'd be smuggling sh*t like stolen electronics, stolen jewelry, stolen art, or a combination of the three. You can be detected, but you can still make some money if you can get away.

Theft: Robbing houses, banks, or stores. This would work in conjunction with stolen good trafficking. You could rob a house or store or bank yourself, or hook up with an NPC gang, lone wolf, or group. You'd have to traffic and sell the things you steal.

These are all activities that fit the theme of crime and would therefore contribute to the illicit feel of the game. And to be clear, I'm not saying these can't exist alongside the sports mini games, but I think an open world crime game should focus more on the crimes. You know?

100 percent agreed.

In my modded version of V, I made sure I put all the best crime-related side mission mods first.

Very nice ideas man. I started another poll for criminal activities a while ago. You can vote some options there..

Amusement parks, camping and pool get my vote.

If the next gta would be settled in Vice City and the surrounding area, we may be see a huge Disneyland-style amusement park.

Regardless of where GTA 6 takes place, I’ve always thought a full-blown amusement park would be neat. In GTA 4 the park was closed, in GTA 5 it was a tiny park on the pier, maybe in GTA 6 we could get a full theme park with several roller coasters, maybe a fun house or dark ride with classic Rockstar humor. It’d be funny if there’d be costumed characters as well.

I think GTA 6 could use ~20 activities, all the ones from GTA 4 and GTA 5 and some new ones.

id like  holographic, glass, mirror, and infinity room..,

which can be reorganized in many ways..,

or props..,

from maze attractions or that glass room in J.W.3(parabellum)

but on topic..,

since tackling is a thing.., it would be interesting if there was matches in combat, sports(that can use tackling).., specially with minor improvements in AI..,

I voted for

-basketball, if we play in the role of a black guy from the streets, it'd be really cool to play with some gang members

-windusrf, if the next game is set in Miami or similar I'd like it a lot

-kart, I do it irl

Absolutely despicable that mountain biking isn't included in OP's list of options. I personally think that Mountain Biking should be a side activity in GTA VI - It was quite good in GTA V but a few improvements are needed with regards to the bike physics and transportation of bikes on vehicles via tailgate or roof racks.

I voted for Other since i really want some Video Games, SA and Online have, but it would be cool to have more, maybe they could sneak in GTA I among them as an easter egg.

This is would be great, or taking the stolen car to strip and use parts for your own car rather than paying 80k for a set of wheels we can steal them from another car or showroom. Drag racing would be awesome aswell, it wouldnt be too difficult id imagine to put a dragstrip in the game.
