Well , i've been reading the comments of the players annoying lack of the quantity and the quality of the activities in gta 5 under the lots of threads here and other forums . I totally agree with this . We should able to do lots of activities / sports in gta next . It shouldn't be like just two activities at Del Pierro Pier or racing with losers at sea / land and air races . It should be much more realistic like a real competition . Besides we couldn't able to do some of the activities like bowling , air hockey , 8 ball , dancing , jetpack flying from the previous games in the series in gta 5 .

I've listed 50 options that i thought to be cool if we'd see them in gta next . Sadly there's a limitation and i couldn't add much more options . Although there are lots of disciplines in atletics , gymnastics , hockey , trekking etc i couldn't add all of them due to limitations . Feel free to write your options and comments !!

Interesting choices. I'm going with:

- Amusement parks. I liked the minigames in Bully. It's a good place to take a date and to have a rampage.

- Camping. No clue how it would work but whenever I see campers in GTA V, I wonder if there could be some reasonable activity attached to it.

- Sailing. Also not quite sure how this could work in a fun way but boats are cool.

- Showboarding. SNOW!!!

- Table tennis. Come on, the first game on the RAGE engine was table tennis, it's way overdue.

- Wingsuit flying. Does this need an explanation? Way cooler than a jepack.

- 8 ball pool. Honestly this should be required in every open world game. Any sandbox that doesn't have pool should be declined certification.

Air hockey, boxing, drag racing and snowmobiling (in case of a snowy setting).

Sports don't seem to mix well with a GTA game. It's better R* not waste resources making these and divert their attention to something else.

(new/reappearance)

  1. Amusement Park
  2. Base Jumping
  3. Drag Racing
  4. Go Kart
  5. Hockey
  6. MotoCross
  7. PaintBall
  8. Wingsuit

i don't ask for Nature Based activities(Camping, Hiking, Canyoning, or Caving, and etc.) Cause i kind of would find it hard to see how R* would make it work.(though i can see it working as well for some). Caving, and Canyoning sounds fun. if done well.., and if R* gives SP the time and effort it now and days, deserves. We might never see some SP Players for a couple of years.

im not going to mention the Classics, Cause everyone knows they want them back.

There are some I'd like in the poll (drag racing, motocross, boxing, wrestling, paintball...),but I'd like more criminal side activities (burglary, drug dealing, street racing, underground fight club, gang wars...),and also gambling, darts, pool, arcade minigames and shooting range.

I don't really care about the activities, usually I don't play them so as long if they fit in the setting of the game I'm fine with that.

so what do you do. you play missions over and over again. or maybe you're a shark fan, lol

I enjoy playing missions yeah, but I also like to drive and walk around a city. I don't really care about the activities, in Grand Theft Auto Online I didn't play things like tennis or golf. Edited by Michael

There is only so much walking about and sightseeing around the map one can do, no matter how beautiful it looks - eventually its gonna get boring real quick.

An open world, free roaming game like GTA needs a great deal of different activities to keep the player interested and immersed. Simply walking around looking at stuff ain't gonna cut it for most people, despite the fact that you're easily pleased.

I would've said skateboarding, as that has the potential in a GTA game to be amazing if it was relatively well executed, but I think it would be more suited for them to flesh out in a potential BULLY 2. I definitely missed the pool game... and I liked the little bit of basketball you could play in SA... Wingsuiting would be a helluva lot more fun than just parachuting with Dom all the time.

Besides these little "fun" activities though, the next GTA seriously needs some sort of combat oriented, repeatable side activity. It was such a missed opportunity in GTA V. They had all the narrative justification in the world. Frank could've been helpin' Lamar stick up Balla/ Vagos deals, Trevor would've been taking on the LOST and Michael could've had some non-stock market "high end" style assassination missions where maybe the stealth stat would be useful...

As long as they have a variation of activites in the next game then that would be fine with me.

I like the idea of air hockey, pool, motorcross etc. As long as it doesn't overtake the main activity in GTA..... which is obviously running people over in various vehicles.

+Yoga

Then all the players will feel frustrated for trying to do a complicated yoga stance.

I didn't add some options that we can able to do in gta 5, but yeah some players really liked yoga and would like to see added in gta next also.

8-ball Pool - But with physics that work properly (I'm looking at you GTA:IV with your impossible sticky cushions)

Wingsuit - This is a must. Surely.

Sailing - Has good potential. Reading the wind, tacking, deploying your spinnaker, other sailing stuff, etc. Could have races and everything.

Bowling - But we gotta have a cousin to go bowling with.

Other: Golf - More golf. I love the 9 holer in GTA:V. Its a success. More! More! They've got a good system. Just need to design another course.

Other: Games Console - With a complete copy of LCS and/or VCS on it.

I ticked 'other' because my favourite activity isn't on the list: Collectibles.

I enjoy the collecting activities in all open world games because they get you to really explore the map, thus discovering things that would have been missed in normal gameplay and the horseshoes in Las Venturas and the Photography in San Fierro were among my favourites.

The letter scraps in V and the UFO parts were a tad lame but the Space Docker reward was a hoot.

Ah yes. The collectibles. You know, the collectibles in SA were great. I had enormous fun collecting them all BEFORE the first mission, especially from the prohibited areas. Parachuting into LV grabbing a couple of horseshoes at a time and then escaping to the safety of the first island before I got busted or killed.

I'm hoping for the next GTA to be set in Vice City, so therefore the non-criminal activities I wanna see should reflect that.

* Restaurants

* Dancing

* Dating

* Pimping

* Gambling (horses, sports, card or dice games)

* Street races, Fast N Furious styled.

* Beach Volleyball

* Bodybuilding

* Jet ski races

* Sailing/Boat races

* Urban Basketball

* Wildlife watching

* Fishing

* Scuba diving

* Canoeing (in the swamps and marshes)

* Firing range

* Motocross

* Off-road races

* Deliveries

Another activity not on the list: Flying.

I love flying and V gave us some awesome aircraft from helis to Jumbos.

Under the Bridge, Knife Flights, Bombing runs and Packet Drops as well as free flight, I really hope to see these back in future GTA
