Irish45455
To be fair, it's like that no matter what you drive. If you drive a Dodge, Chevy and Ford people sh*t on you. Drive a Toyota? Nissan and Honda people sh*t on you. Almost every body thinks they car is the biggest, baddest beast on the road, and always have some sh*t to talk. It's nice once in while to meet someone who will genuinely be interested in what you drive, why you drive it, and want to know all about it because they like anything that has four wheels and an engine. When it comes to what people drive, I'm just like, "Hey, sweet Dakota. V6 or V8? V8? Nice. How long have you had it? She run okay? What made you want to buy her?" Sh*t like that, because I know people like different things. Some people like Italian supercars, or American muscle, or JDM cars. I accept that. If you're willing to talk to me about your car, and aren't a dick about it, I can get along with any car guy.
DOUGL4S1
Just stumbled upon the wastelandish environment of a Tesla Model 3 video comment section. Nothing personal against Tesla, but some people in communities around them seem so childish and close-minded. Everything from people complaining about 'how people are burning dead dinossaurs into their lungs, and father Musk is here to save the planet' to people who just go to those videos to say that 'their F150 is more practical than that'. Nico
Tesla fanboys -and pretty much everyone from the environmental-friendly patrol on internet- annoy me to no end. Specially those who are idiotic enough to pride themselves over it with fancy custom plates, or in the case of my obviously poorer country, sh*tty signs on their bicycles, like "One less car". Pure tomfoolery. Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder... ...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

Nico
Like an hour after making my previous post I came across this: From a The Grand Tour video. They always NEED to stick their noses everywhere and presume their lovely brand. I won't be the one denying that Tesla is indeed revolutionary, but I f*cking hate their fans. Gnocchi Flip Flops
Speaking in general and not including "all" of these types of people. But what I seem to notice within the car community is that are two big crowds. The classic/muscle car crowd and the tuner crowd. Everyone has their own niche, their own tastes, etc. I generally like most car genres and both old and new. But I can't help but notice that there is a trend with tuner and muscle car guys in which they think they're special for not liking anything modern or exotic and that they're going against the crowd. Ironically, this is a lot of people and the thinking is all relatively the same. "I'm special" and it's this "I'm better than you because my tastes are better and aren't mainstream" crap. It drives me up the wall. The snobbery needs to stop. You like what you like and other people like what they like. There is no right or wrong. And for the love of god, stop this crappy new vs. old argument and appreciate cars for cars.
