Saints' SB victory. This was the biggest play in the history of our franchise.http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x217rg7_tracy-porter-interception-sb-xliv-nfl-films-presents-hd_sport

I'd argue that the onside kick at the beginning of the 2nd half was the biggest play in that game.

Best sports moments that I've seen in person

1. 2006 Rose Bowl. Texas finally wins the National Championship in one of the greatest college football games of all time

1a. 2005 Rose Bowl. A better game than the NC, but it's always forgotten since there were no title implications

3. 2001 Holiday Bowl. Major Applewhite comes in for an inept Chrissy Simms and leads the Longhorns on an insane comeback. It cemented his legacy as a legend and made people hate Chrissy even more

4. 1997 Stanley Cup Finals, game 4. First and only NHL game I've attended, and my favorite player scored the GWG

Others:

1.

Nothing else comes close. Cole was a good friend of mine. The video explains it pretty well. The QB is the aforementioned Applewhite

2. Dee Gordon's home run leading off the game after Jose Fernandez passed away. Brought me to tears

3. The Cubs winning the WS. I grew up a Cubs fan, and seeing them finally win was amazing.

4. Favre throwing for 4 TD's on MNF the day after his dad passed away.

The pick was the cementing moment . That was when it dawned on everyone in our city that we'd actually win a SB after almost 50 years of mostly wretched play. We were just hoping a decent showing against the Vikings before that game, and if NO had richter scales, they would've registered after that pick. The onside kick was a pivotal moment to be sure.

Anything could've happened during the second half for the Saints to blow that game, even if we were up by 21 to start the half. We're the Saints, and Ive seen it all...

Paul Kariya gets "off the floor" and "on the board" in the Stanley Cup finals...

Kariya recently began speaking publicly for the first time since retiring. Really the first time speaking of this incident. He says he doesnt remember anything from the day of the game, the next day, and the day after including game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Dave Mustaine 1998

When Anthony Barr tackled/hurt Erin Rogers and it cost the Green Bay Packers the season.

When Stefon Diggs made a long @$$ touchdown in order to win the NFC Championship against the New Orleans Saints.

When the Chicago Blackhawks NHL team won the Stanley Cup six times, with the years they won it being in 1934, 1938, 1961, 2010, 2013, and 2015.

When the Minnesota Twins MLB team won the World Series back in 1924, 1987, and 1991, a total of three times.

When the Philadelphia 76ers won the NBA Championship three times: in 1955, 1967, and 1983.

When the Chargers left San Diego.

I was so tired of them threatening to leave if they didn't get this or that so I quit watching them about 5 years ago. Then I quit watching NFL completely 3 years ago.

They are NOT the role models I want my kids looking up to.

The match for the 3rd place in the football world cup 2002 between Turkey and South Korea was very nice and a wonderful fair-paly and friendship moment. The exact state of mind and behavior sports should give people.

Barcelona 3-1 Manchester United Champions league 2011 Final. God that Barca side was like from heaven. They played so beautifully that season I could watch them for hours.

I'm a United fan, but yeah. When I realized that United weren't going to win, I just sat back and enjoyed the witchcraft that was going on in that side.

OT:

-'99 Champions League final.

-Alex Fergusons last game at Old Trafford, I was in the Stretford End. Booked the tickets long before his retirement was announced. Not the greatest game, but the frame around it.

- Norway - Brazil 1998. Come on.

Andrey Arshavin scoring 4 goals at Anfield. This game made me an Arsenal supporter, mostly due to Arshavin already being one of my footballing idols, but his antics in that game stuck with me to this day.

Also the 2008 UCL Final at Luzhniki, Moscow, which was the first full football match I've watched so it's a special one to me for this reason. Had to wake up at like 4AM to catch it due to my timezone.

2 moments stand out:

2005, Liverpool win the Champions League after coming back from 3-0 to A.C. Milan. Insane football match. Crazy comeback in a final! That A.C. Milan team was dynamite; Kaka, Maldini, Pirlo, Seedorf, Crespo!

Second moment was more recently at a bar in Prague, Czech, watching Ireland beat the All-Blacks in rugby. The first rugby game I went we lost 50-0 to the almighty and almost unbeatable All-Blacks. Then, 20 years later I watch them beat them in a weird Irish bar in Prague. Good times! Around that time we ranked 1st in the world!
