I decided to create this forum to show off some of the mods I am working on and statuses of the projects:

Here are some images of the Jobuilt Linerunner I am converting over to GTA IV.

Its good that we have another GTA IV car creator here. I'm just about tired of seeing GTA SA cars everywhere.

I don't mind SA cars or any GTA car from any game. As long as it fits in its environment.

Sorry guys won't be able to post any images for a while. We had to update our Uverse information now the wireless stuff is all screwed up. Won't be fixed until Wednesday. Until then, I will just tell you what's has happened:

- Mapped more objects in Zmodeler to GTA IV textures,

- Scrapped the door panels on the doors to match IV's theme,

Like I said, I will update more on Wednesday.

So the linerunner is giving me a headache. I have decided to take a day or so away from it. I have decided to bring two more projects into light:

Jobuilt 289 (based off the Peterbilt 289):

1430327695_1.jpg

- I decided that the 1st one I made wasn't finished enough to my liking. I am doing a complete rebuild on the truck and going to hopefully fix issues that the previous version had.

- I am leaving this model unlocked. I have recieved numerous messages to have an unlocked version of a model (not just the Jobuilt 289, but other models as well) to have it converted to GTA V. Hopefully it will be converted over, as I would like to see it haul a trailer.

- The handling line that I had felt like the truck was ment for drifting. I am going to see if I can find someone to custom make a handling line for me (if you know anyone, please let me know).

- New version will have correct LOD's.

Declasse Tornado Police (based off a 1950's Chevrolet Bel Air police car):
declasse_tornado_police_car_by_director_

The Declasse Tornado captured a lot of eyes when GTA V came out. Many didn't like the performance the car had, but they forgot the car is over 50 years old. You can sometimes find the car completely rusting away in some parts of San Andreas. Even though a restored/clean Declasse Tornado catches many eyes, the police edition should certainly capture more eyes, from the Tornado enthusiasts, and the police enthusiasts.

- The car will become a 4 door vehicle.
- The vehicle will be UV Mapped.
- The car will be released in Non-ELS.

Well, here you have it. A 4-door Tornado. Time to remove all the ugly colors and decals and to UV map this classic beauty.

I haven't mentioned this one either because I am having some wheels issues with it, but I started this back in January or so. Since the issues are frustrating me, I decided to just ignore them for now and just make liveries, as I would have to do that eventually.

The issue I am having with the wheels is in Zmodeler, the dummies and everything is centered in the wheels, like it's supose to be. But in game, the wheels look like this:

If anyone knows why this is doing this, please let me know!

Got the wheel issue resolved. I just imported an ambulance and transfered everything over to it and that fixed it... :/ -_-

Tested both the Vapid Squad Unit and the Declasse Tornado in game and so far everything is going as planned.

As stated before about the squad, got the wheel issue fixed and now I just have to move the back wheels out a little more, create a handling, add the interior details (forgot to add that to the .wtd file) and fix the camera issue that comes with most modded vehicles.

For the Declasse Tornado, as seen in the images, it is UV mapped. This turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Not really any blurs or anything on the model. For example, I mapped the front fenders in 3 different places: Left/right side, top, and front. I did that to get maximum quality when adding textures. I still got to work on: Dirt mapping, replacing the chrome with the vehicle_generic chrome, police light, and then removing that red taxi marker on the trunk. This project has got me excited.

Decided to call it a night with the Tornado. Tried mapping the dirt on it and it's already got me pulling my hair off my head. I know a way to do it, but I've done it a quicker way before. So I may have to do it the longer way (map it as it's a template), which means there is about 1 day or so wasted just doing dirt mapping. To keep my sanity from the dirt mapping, I decided to put the light beacon on top of the car. I also decided to start making the liveries for the tornado too. I'll have to upload screenshots tomorrow.

So far in game, it looks good. Now to add the non-ELS dummy to have a functional rotor and a couple little details then off to the modding sites it goes!

Off to the next project. People have asked to create a taxi version and civilian version of the 4 door Tornado. I will keep that in my to do list. But for now, I would like to make more progress on the Jobuilt 289 and the Jobuilt Linerunner. The Linerunner just needs a few more tweaks and fixes and then it's good to roll out. Even though the Linerunner looks almost done. It's only about 35%-40% complete. So after the Tornado variants and the 289, I will jump back into the Linerunner. That truck has me intrigued.

For the Vapid utility truck I started on around the same time I started the Tornado, I may just make that a development release, which means it will only come with the model and the template. Some can make it a FDLC or paramedic vehicle like I showed in the images before, while some may make it a construction truck or a Whiz Wireless truck. Others can add lightbars, ladders, liveries, etc. to it from there. I don't really know what it would replace in game. My guess it would have to be added if you really want to play with it.

Here are some recent images of the Jobuilt 289 (not sure if that's even going to be its name).

The changes I am making from the old one are:

- Unlocked model,

- Correct LOD's (Level of Detail),

- Fix issue with camera angle,

- Added "Jobuilt" texture on mud flaps,

- Fix issue with interior textures,

- New handling,

you can use "Juggernaut" name from GTA 1

I don't think it would be a suitable Name for it.

Juggernaut-GTA1.png

The Juggernaut has a similar form to the Phantom.

A buddy of mine owns a Fiat 500 Abarth and I'm not gonna lie, those car move quicker than I thought. After seeing his car a few times, I wanted Rockstar to create their own version. Finally they delivered the Grotti Brioson to GTA V and now I want to convert it. I want to finish the Jobuilt 289 before this one, but here is a teaser image of the vehicle being worked on in Zmodeler:

Expect the Jobuilt 289 to be released this weekend if everything goes as planned!

The Juggernaut has a similar form to the Phantom.

And the Furore GT is based on an Opel GT/Ford GT40 in GTA 2, but in GTA V it is based on a Maserati Alfieri. They still are sport cars in both games either way, even with different designs, even in different eras.

The Juggernaut is a good name, in my opinion.
