Is it just me or are hardly any of the blues any good. Midnight is too dark, Galaxy is too green, Dark is too bright and they're all too yellow looking under streetlights. Blue is one of my favourite car colours but I've only got a few out of my vast collection in blue in GTA.

Slate is where it's at.

I'm so tired of hearing people complain about someone else's mod choices in appreciation threads. It's not your car so why does it bother you? There's nothing wrong with not finding a particular look to your liking but what do you get out of announcing it to everyone else and especially the owner of said vehicle that you find their aesthetic choices to be poor?

 

There are plenty of cars or aspects about certain cars I don't care for at all but it doesn't make me feel the need to go into those threads and sh*t all over the design elements I dislike, so why do the same thing to other people's creations? It's one thing to mention something not being up your alley in passing or whatever but sh*t like "*facepalm*" in response to a person's PV pic is so damn condescending.

 

Also I put the lightest (and medium less frequently, mostly the lightest) tint on every one of my cars. I don't care for limo tint but put it on my Rumpo custom as it seems to fit it well (being a getaway/crime type vehicle). Guess what, I think it looks great and if you don't like it you can kiss my ass

 

 

It doesn't have to be stock to be considered not ugly. Taste is subjective, but you either have good taste or you don't. Most modded up cars look like riced up hideous garbage. The person who designed it thinks they have good taste, but in reality they have the taste of a 12yr old who just got done watching the first FnF movie with little to no knowledge at all about how a proper car should look and be setup.

 

You either have an eye for great design, which is proven from the great reactions you get or only think you have a great eye for design. Not much else to it. You can think what you want about whatever ride, but when 80% of ppl think its ugly, guess what? Its ugly.

 

A Mother will never call her child ugly, but her drunk friends wont hesitate if it is though lol.

 

 

Dude I get it, my point was more just why sh*t on someone for it or act like it's a huge deal. As you said taste is subjective, something can be considered "ugly" yet still be good looking to the creator. A lot of times there's better ways of expressing something to someone else as to not be completely dismissive of their work is all. I just get tired of reading negativity like that on here when people are showing off their "creations", either way it's not a huge deal, hence the B&M thread.

Was hoping one of the retro classic supers would be released today. The ruston is ugly asf. Looks like a miata on steroids that took a fall off the ugly tree hitting every branch on the way down. With each branch hit, it got a little bit more squished and when it hit the ground it was decapitated. Toad road kill look yo.

^ Some things they absolutely nailed. Others were just a swing and a miss. I hate the Surfer's interior. Same with many of the older cars with modern interiors. It just doesn't work like that, Rockstar.

I find the Ramp Buggy's price to be particularly hilarious. The thing it's based on is just a cage made of welded pipe and sheet steel, propelled by an old VW Beetle driveline. Which adds up to less than $20k worth of material. The in-game version is basically made the same way, yet they have the gall to ask several million.

For that price your character could go to welding school for 2 years, buy the components themself, build it themself, and still be 2.38m in the green.

don't forget the fact that it is sh*t at doing what it's supposed to do. Thing is destroyed after just a minute of highway fun,that is if you don't hit to many big vehicles. Otherwise it's just 30 seconds. Rockstar loves to add new but almost useless Pegasus vehicles for Some reason.

Yeah, I haven't had any issues with my custom vehicles, but I've been playing the new special vehicle stunt races, for the double RP/GTA$, and I'm very close to buying the rocket voltic because it's so much damn fun, but I've blown that thing up a hundred times. It's hilarious, but can be annoying. You hit the afterburners, launch forward, bounce off a tree and smack a fender on a wall and explode.

 

I feel like the car should have to be smoking from heavy damage before an explosion can happen. I know it's possible to knock wheels off cars in this game, but I've only witnessed it once since the game came out. It would be nice to see them use the actual damage physics of the game, rather than just blowing up on mild impacts.

Yeah my favorite most used color in the game is screwed up, that's why I use crew colors.

We need proper bmw. Pretty much every bmw vehicle with the exception of the two oracle looks like a copy made in China.

Just some things that I didn't like about some recent cars.

 

 

Elegy Retro Custom:

- No stock version available (maybe pointless)

- Few and simpler Front/Back bumper options compared to the Sultan RS

- Left driver seat instead of right (maybe limitation of the engine)

 

Comet Retro Custom:

- No Stock version available (for now)

- Modern interior in an old sports car ( understandable because it was lifted from the normal Comet)

- No Ruff Weld livery and tarmac attack spoiler available to make a more accurate Rauh Welt inspired car

- No whale tail spoiler available

- No engine block customization

 

Infernus Classic:

- No hood customization and roof cuztomization (Diablo SV scoops)

- Sports Classics instead of Sports/Supers.

- Minor complaint, but I wish that the air intakes behind the door windows (don't know the name exactly) were paintable, so I could paint gold only the engine with the secondary color option

This is a great idea, also the more you use you car the more cluttered with junk it gets lol. Then take it to car wash

- No FMJ front bumper option, that carbon thing is hideous.

- Waddup with the X80 proto price? interior made out of gold or something?

- Like the dude said above, no normal BMW cars, only the sentinentel xs looks like a M2/M4, but its slower than a rat loader

- All coupés are slow, of course, otherwise they'd mess with the sports class but still, its like a 'others' class now.

- Also said, but i'd mention it again, the prices of bikes. WHATTHEf*ck ain't gonna pay almost 1 million (which is like 12€ in sharkcards) for some slow bike with a drag thing on it. Okay, i'll admit, it looks cool and drives fun, but 1 million is insane, meanwhile, Bati Akuma etc are better and cheaper.

- This is just a personal thing, but i'd like to see more hybrid/electric super/sports cars. The ones in the game already are not really mentionable.

- OHMYYGOD where did the indicators go on npcs? Ramming random people on the streets 24/7 cuz they cut out indicators, had to addapt to it for 8 months ;s

- Normal races are completly abdonded because of stunt & special races. Which are just a "best man at ramming people of the track and not crashing" competition.

- Almost no shooting brake cars, very few modern station cars.

- Did i already mention the f###ing disaster of a front splitter carbon wing downforce wanker thing on the FMJ?

Why almost every single new vehicle renders all previous ones obsolete? Not only almost all Vanilla vehicles are obsolete, also way too many DLC cars.

 

Remember when the Entity was king? The T20? The RE-7B? Now it's the Nero, but how long before a better car gets released?

 

It's a miracle that the Zentorno wasn't nerfed in any way, having great performance for an affordable price.

 

I get that R* has to make the new shiny thing appealing to everyone, but at the cost of the almost not existent balance of this game?

 

I remember the day that the GP1 was released, everyone took one for Stunt races (myself included), the next day, everyone went back to their Neros and Zentornos (and the occasional T20).

 

At least the new vehicles are relatively affordable, so kudos for that.

I hate how Rockstar have the physics set for the Retro Comet, when the "hood" buckles and flies up, it never f*cking breaks off like it does on any other car...it has the trunk physics in which no matter how fast you go, it doesn't come off. It's made the car pretty useless. I really hope Rockstar addresses it at some point. I really love the car but the hood issue is kind of a deal breaker for me....
