The Tornado rat rod was disappointing, if it'd had the handling characteristics of the Mamba and the engine sounds of the Franken Stange it would have been awesome but the reality is that it's strangely bland to drive.

I hear what you are saying, but handling like the Mamba wouldn't make any sense, its a big car with big slicks on the back, not a light overpowered sports car.

 

Engine sound I guess is subjective, I mean it has the identical idle sound to the Franken and the accel sounds are pretty close to the trophy truck, maybe quieter, idk I like it almost equally to the Franken I think. Louder overall would have been good.

 

I very much agree it could have been way better though. Mostly just faster and more mod options. Still one of my personal top 5 cars.

It just feels like a car like that should be really pushing the limits but it's not fast or loud enough to scratch the itch, for me anyway. What I meant with the Mamba comparison wasn't so much a copy and paste of the handling more the spirit of an excess of power that needs to be driven well to get the best out of it.

 

It's like the Drift Tampa for exactly the same reasons. I still like both cars but it's a bit frustrating that they just need a couple of small tweaks for them to nail the feel of the cars they're based on.

I abdolutely hate the forced carbon body on some car. I also hate the forced bodykits and spoiler on some car. I hate that some cars have lame sound. I hate that rockstar have to mix a beautiful car with some hipster car. I hate that cars price is more expensive than their real life counterparts. I hate that car doesnt feel as fast as in some racing games. I hate the vehicle classification. I hate some cars have reused ugly interior. I hate that i have to do certain things to go faster. I hate that custom version is slower than the normal one. I hate that the most interesting car is sonetimes the most expensive one. And so on.

Is it just me or are hardly any of the blues any good. Midnight is too dark, Galaxy is too green, Dark is too bright and they're all too yellow looking under streetlights. Blue is one of my favourite car colours but I've only got a few out of my vast collection in blue in GTA.

Why does upgrading a car at Benny's increase the repair cost ten fold? I get a small scrape on my Elegy Retro (for example) and it's at least 1k to repair it, really bash it up and you're looking at 2-3k repair if not more. I know in the grand scheme of things GTAO that it's not a big deal or a huge amount but when I can repair a 2+ million dollar car for a few hundred bucks it really bugs me that upgraded Benny's cars cost so much in comparison.

I'm so tired of hearing people complain about someone else's mod choices in appreciation threads. It's not your car so why does it bother you? There's nothing wrong with not finding a particular look to your liking but what do you get out of announcing it to everyone else and especially the owner of said vehicle that you find their aesthetic choices to be poor?

 

There are plenty of cars or aspects about certain cars I don't care for at all but it doesn't make me feel the need to go into those threads and sh*t all over the design elements I dislike, so why do the same thing to other people's creations? It's one thing to mention something not being up your alley in passing or whatever but sh*t like "*facepalm*" in response to a person's PV pic is so damn condescending.

 

Also I put the lightest (and medium less frequently, mostly the lightest) tint on every one of my cars. I don't care for limo tint but put it on my Rumpo custom as it seems to fit it well (being a getaway/crime type vehicle). Guess what, I think it looks great and if you don't like it you can kiss my ass

A whole lotta use my boat is when it spawns at a dock and I'm in the middle of the ocean. That's literally the only usable reason to actually purchase a boat, and it doesn't work. Gotta phone in a Merryweather transport and pop the driver to get back to shore. Dumb.

It's mainly the people that are into vehicle snapmatic photo's, their motto is anything but stock is a ricer lol

I hate how once you turn some of the cars into lowriders the front wheels no longer turn fully. I brought this up in the regular B&M thread but every time I see a lowrider it just bothers me to no end. I love the Buccaneer Custom but can't own it because the wheels not turning fully bothers me so goddamn much. Same with the Virgo Classic Custom and a bunch of the other lowriders.

 

Also, we have a clean version of the Rat-Loader (sort of) but why not the Duneloader? How sexy would that thing be if you ould make it look like a brand new Dodge Power Wagon, especially with worn sea wash paint? Also, where is the Peyote Custom, Manana Custom and Emperor Custom? So just f*ck them, right? Two minivans can get the lowrider treatment but not three cars that deserve it most? And just for the hell of it, why not a Picador Custom? I really hope we get a Hot Rod themed pdate so we can get the four mentioned Customs plus the Hermes and a rat rod version of the Roosevelt.

The absolute slowest car you can buy for over 300k. When I say slow, I mean SLLLLOOOOOWWWWW. Shame because it looks badass.

 

I'm on the verge of calling it the ricer rat-rod because of how it looks and how slow it is.

It doesn't have to be stock to be considered not ugly. Taste is subjective, but you either have good taste or you don't. Most modded up cars look like riced up hideous garbage. The person who designed it thinks they have good taste, but in reality they have the taste of a 12yr old who just got done watching the first FnF movie with little to no knowledge at all about how a proper car should look and be setup.

 

You either have an eye for great design, which is proven from the great reactions you get or only think you have a great eye for design. Not much else to it. You can think what you want about whatever ride, but when 80% of ppl think its ugly, guess what? Its ugly.

 

A Mother will never call her child ugly, but her drunk friends wont hesitate if it is though lol.

Also, they really have to stop with the copy and paste interiors, especially when it comes to the sports classics, I wouldn't have put my Tornado through benny's If the interior was akin to the Peyote, which has an interior done right . . . sort of.

I agree with that because its pretty obvi but for 300k bro, I would expect this to at least keep up with the Blade. I mean for having such huge slicks it sure can't hook for sh*t lol.

Thoses livery look awesome (I know, off topic but it have to be said.) And to be on topic.. why does it so hard to have some proper sound for most of the cars..? I mean, the Stirling GT and the Manba have great sound, so.. why no the other cars? (Same for gun.) Image a Sound Update, it will change the game completely (IMO)
