Tickles me too. It's easy to forget that pretty much everyone posting in this thread is a bloke. I don't think it's easy too forget that at all lol and guys I promoted myself (also others) as pretty much everyone in the competition did.

 

If this is against the rules please let me know, the judges can and most probably will overrule the votes so yeah it's fine.

Look, I'm not accusing anyone of anything (at all) and I have no idea who it may be (I really don't - I'm that slow) but whoever feels that making new accounts just to throw in votes just to win a forum competition - shame on you. No, seriously, you should rethink what this is all about; good fun and by making those new accounts you've twisted that fun into dirty cheating. Right, the fun was gone a few pages back but this is getting ridiculous. How can we ensure the winner is the right one? Also, will that winner feel satisfied if they actually win by cheating? Every day you're gonna look at your forum medal and know it was won by being sleazy. Can you really live with that lie?

Anyway, I'm hoping the Miss LS officials look into the matter someway or another. The integrity of the whole competition is on burning wooden legs if these multiple accounts allegations go unnoticed.

State of the Miss Los Santos 2016 Address

First and foremost, there are no rules against gaining support from new members beyond the forums; reasons for which are attributed to the limitations of the forum polling system itself, and the overall manpower required to police such unknown variables. That has always been the general rule of thumb when conducting polling for the Miss Los Santos contest.

 

We have, however, been informed by forum staff that there’s been some foul-play in regards to duplicate accounts. This is not, I repeat, not allowed under any circumstances, per forum rules.

 

Therefore, in order to protect the integrity of this contest, we will be resetting the poll, and reopening it as a public poll. What does this mean for you? This means that your vote will be cease to be anonymous and become public to anyone and everyone who participates. Further, any accounts made less than a week ago from here on out will not be counted. Initially, we feared that public voting would open others to scrutiny and resentment, but now we have no choice. And considering we’re only less than 24 hours into voting, the integrity of the contest far outweighs this minor setback.

 

With that said, do not use this as an opportunity to scapegoat. There is absolutely no connection to the individuals involved and the contestants themselves. Those accounts implicated have and will be dealt with accordingly by our amazing GTAF staff.

So we have a contestant accused of cheating and then another contestant bravely calls out said opponent. Turning the contest into a 2 person race. Everyone voting for either-or......when there are 8 other contestants.
