Markhayzy
One thinf i can't understand with V is why oh why they did not include the following interiors/activities..... Bahama Mamas West Tequila-la Split sides comedy club The Hen house Davis Mall Hookies Etc Etc..... So i can understand maybe when first released on Last Gen they maybe didn't have the memory or console power, BUT when released on Next Gen there is just no SANE reason why Rockstar wouldn't open up some extra interiors/activities to do with these locations and others. It would make the game SO much more alive and immersive, especially after the story is complete fir replayability. They could have added them at intervals like they did with online just to freshen things up, especially after setting the nightclub standard with TBOGT, why would you not improve the next time...but no.... The only one i can understand is the Casino not opening because Online would want it too and with Shark cards available there would be modders coming out with all sorts of scams and thousands of teenage gamblers in serious debt! Maybe they were planned to open with SPDLC, but the chance of that happening now is a million to one. Can anyone else think of ANY possible reasons for the lack of these things? Osho
Its a mystery to me on why Rockstar keeps certain interiors closed, especially, those which are accessible during the mission in the story, but becomes inaccessible again after you complete the mission?!? For instance: the Bahama Club remains open only during the mission in TBoGT and remains inaccessible throughout in GTA IV despite within the same city and only available to use during the multiplayer, WTF!? Why didn't IV/Episodes allow the single players to use some of those mission exclusive interiors as well? Its the same thing in case of V as well. So that needs to change because I fail to understand the logic behind the same. Ivan1997GTA and 65536
Official General
No we can't. We can't understand why Rockstar would leave out these things but yet add slliy stuff like yoga, or place tons of near useless mountains that take up the map. Hence why we say they must have been on crack when making the game. Niobium and Maibatsu545

Algonquin Assassin
Even though I don't understand why interiors become locked after missions (something I have a problem with in GTA IV too) the thing that's always annoyed me the most is the lack of interiors for the buyable properties. It feels stupid buying a nightclub and not even being able to go inside. Niobium, Maibatsu545, Eugene H. Krabs and 3 others
DimitriFaustin
I have a gut feeling that most of the game memory regarding the game world design was spent creating the marine life and the land and plants in the sea, leaving only enough disk space to allow some enterable interiors (and ones R* felt were most relevant to the player at that). Maybe Rockstar should've realized that not everyone who plays GTA V wants to roam around in a yellow submarine. Niobium
Osho
What kind of logic is that? Even if the detailed underwater areas take a large block of memory, you are not going to access the interiors simultaneously. You can still access the interiors in missions despite the detailed underwater areas. So, I doubt there's any connection to detailed underwater areas memory allocation when you are exploring the areas on land like the interiors. If there's anything wrong in how the game handles the memory then the blame lies with the consoles, not the underwater areas.
AUScowboy
Last gen consoles maybe...^ CG is perfectly capable of handling all the interiors mentioned above and then some.

Even if it was on LG, it would work because all they need to do is load areas from the game and unload from others. Niobium and Cr!minal

Screw all these Online DLC's Screw SP. It's a lost cause. They f*cked it up so bad I will never go back to it, all I play is Online now. And I was a big critic of it last year. Once you get into it it's not as bad. You still know it's a cash cow but it's not bad it's better than SP, although that's mainly because SP was a f*ck up. Skeng
While it's clearly evident R* spent 99.9% of their time and resources exclusively for online, I still think SP mode is amazing and the deepest most enganging SP of any GTA in history with or without these interiors, I appreciate all the underwater details, the desert details, the hills and forest details.. although after a while it does seem abit lifeless
Shade04rek
I didn't care for anything having to do with being submerged underwater, and I think it was a waste of resources for the type of game this is. Thats like the number 1 rule in games, underwater sucks. It coulda all went in to interiors and making those barren hills into a massive "tall trees". Hell I woulda even took a massive empty desert in the middle of the map over useless underwater details you cant even do anything with. MessedUpPro
Hell I woulda even took a massive empty desert in the middle of the map over useless underwater details you cant even do anything with. Just... think about what you said there. You would rather have a giant empty area taking up the map space with nothing to do over a detailed underwater area, outside the main map, with little to do other than explore it, because you can't do anything with the underwater details. So you would rather have a big spot taking up the main map that doesn't even have details to look at. That makes absolutely no sense, given your issue with underwater areas. I tried to, and Lord knows I tried. I'm just not taken in by it all. I've got me a nice high-powered gaming PC now, I'm gonna try and get the best SP experience from the mods this week when I pick up my PC copies of V and IV. The mods look like they are gonna be the answer for my SP requirements. Edited September 25, 2016 by Official General
Maibatsu545
I chalk it up to laziness, pure laziness, and cheapness. Also, just bad game design, too busy coding gimmick three character swap mechanics, writing, bad dialouge, and brainstorming stupid torture minigames instead of giving us an interesting world to explore. Bla,d bland bland. That's gta5's worst sin. it's just bland. Even though I don't understand why interiors become locked after missions (something I have a problem with in GTA IV too) the thing that's always annoyed me the most is the lack of interiors for the buyable properties. It feels stupid buying a nightclub and not even being able to go inside. That's because properties were a half-baked addition they threw in because of the huge backlash when they originally announced that there would be no buyable properties. jpm1
interiors are ressource hogs. that's pretty much the reason why we didn't get clubs, nor restaurants. and why we have to teleport in V, instead of normal door
